Why cant we delete our own threads and topics? Many times have I problems with triple posting+++ due to topics not showing up after a minute or two.
And we really need a search funcktion too.

I think, mostly because it would be abused. You cannot delete your posts, even if they are legitimate because it would be to easy to bump/flame/spam and remove the evidence before a moderator notices.

Well, don't triple post. If you posted once, it will come up eventually.

Because we all like to think that you're an idiot who just can't post 1 thread, lol.

Don't worry about your thread not being posted at that very moment. Wait for at least ten minutes before creating another one, or else you will look like an idiot.

what if only others posts would count as a bump in your own thread?
or if you could delete your topics but not normal posts?

Bumping is not allowed at all.

I don't see why you would want to delete a thread if you created it.

Some people don't think before they act.

Some people regret their posts.
Anyway, When I ask a question and get the answer I seek, I don't want my post to be at the forum anymore.

Well, frankly... Deal with it. If you posted something that got a good answer, then it exists to offer other people a chance to get that same answer.

And if you post something that you regret posting later, it exists to remind you to think before you post.

Either way, there's no reason to give people something as abusable as the ability to delete their own posts.
