I can't believe the graphics, it is soo great for the Xbox.

I don't like the SMG starts and the controls, but it is a great game over all!

And the storyline is probably the best of ANY of the Halo games.

I havn't played multiplayer, but I plan to soon.

For the most part, I love Halo 2. But if you've been playing Halo 3, it's a big jump. It's faster paced, and you'll be spawn killed or at least shot at every time you spawn.

You probably won't be a fan of the melee system, either (especially with BXB and BXR).

what's BXB and BXR?

I've heard them, but i've been afraid to ask in the H3F.

The repittion of the word n00b in that forum is amazing...

I've been playing H2 from the beginning (Campaign mostly) and I just found out about something today. Almost everyone knows you can save the 2nd Scorpion by driving a Ghost real fast (after spawning the Scarab) to the tank and simply getting in. I was told that all you have to do is shoot the tank once with a Rocket Launcher, then wait. The Scarab will open up to shoot the tank and then it will close without shooting, leaving the tank untouched. I just did it and it works. You can just trot to the landing above the entry and shoot once, I never knew that.

Anyway, there's always a few surprises left for us to find in this great game.

A rather simple glitch in the game allowing for "unfair" game play in my opinion. Basically BXB is allowing you to quickly melee a guy twice, much faster than simple pressing the B button twice. BXR is only slightly more complicated and basically involves meleeing the poor mate, pressing X to cancel the move, and then pulling the trigger while it's aimed on the head for an instant kill.

I prefer the Halo 2 melee system. (Don't listen to my profile. I changed my GT and it says I never played H2. )

OMG
Master Chief w/o his Helmet!

Stosh <3's me vicariously... at least someone does...

I've played Halo 2 on Live since a month after it came out and I can proudly say I never did a single button glitch in a competitive match. (I did sword and rocket glitches in customs but no one had to suffer for that)

Halo 2 does have the most plot development of the three, and it was also planned to be the last game. Ultimatley, the last three levels had to be cut. That's why there is relitively little plot deveoplment in Halo 3, since they had to stretch 2-3 levels into an entire game.

There's a much wider gap between "pro's" and "nub's" in that game, but fortunatley for you, most of the "pro's" have moved on.

I never knew that Halo 2 was supposed to be the last one.

That explains a lot about Halo 3's storyline.

LOL, what's that supposed to mean?

I played H2 about a month back for the first since H3 was released, I forgot how good the BR was in that game. And +1 about the spawn killing, I would spawn with a BR going off to my head.
