It'll take a while to get used to. First, it'll take a bit longer to find a game, since hardly anyone plays anymore. I recommend the Hardcore or Team Slayer playlists.
The melee system is pretty different. You won't be able to melee as far or as accurately, so that takes some practice.
The BR spread is much tighter, resulting in easier 4-shots and long-distance BRing. And of course, the button layout is different, so if you play on Bumper Jumper or something, you'll have to get used to H2 controls again.
Welcome to Halo 2. Enjoy the very small amount of lag and immature 12-year-olds. Send me a friend request if you want to play some games later. I don't have a mic.
are you talking about H2 or H3 because if your talking about Halo 2 most of that stuff is wrong

Thats some good info ZeroBaka thanx my son and i will start playing H2, my 360 got RROD so i had to bust out the old orginal xbox.i didn't get live till i bought the 360 so H2 will be like a whole new game again. plus i was starting to get tired of all the drama on H3.
I've heard there was alot of cheating in H2 during is prime, is that still true?
HC
There's mainly button glitches now. If you've never heard of them, they are:
BXB: A player can melee (B button), then cancel that melee animation with the X button, and melee again, resulting in an instant kill.
BXR: Basically the same thing as BXB, except the last button is the right trigger, since their shields will be down from the first melee.
I'm not too sure of the other cheating in the game. I'm sure there is some sort of cheating going on. After all, people believe they can get away with it now that Bungie has turned their attention to Halo 3.
The other button combos are
RRBX
RRXYYRRX
BXRRBX
and button combos aren't cheating :)
