Or maybe you should drive with one hand and have really bad steering.

No that would suck...

Exactly. Now someone will have to escort the flag grabber to the base. I thought of something even more annoying, is that each team is designated there own warthog, and only a certain player(s) can use there own teams warthog. This would deter from wankers who like to park hogs and other vehicles on teleporter exits.

Yes we know its already confirmed! :P It was confirmed at E3. You also have to hold X to pick up the flag, thought I'd mention that too.

Yes because sometimes you can accidently run over it making you totally defenceless :P

I personally don't really like that idea. One strategy (for my friends and I on BG, from red base) is to have one person on Open Ridge by the TP, taking people out who go through, and being close for the getaway and being near the Warthog; one or 2 people attacking midfield or close to the opponent's base to draw them closer, and the last teammate to go sneak through the tunnels and hide in the darkness until the coast is clear. then, everyone goes back to the base/near open ridge to cover for the person with the flag, then the person with the flag goes through the TP, jumps in the hog, then drives away safely.

or just use both hogs at the same time to confuse the -blam!- out of the other team.

in a way, not being able to drive with the flag will cause people to lose some strategies, yet i agree this will promote teamwork and create new ones.

also, people who park vehicles on the teleporters suck. never use "all vehicles".

One of the worst things is people who camp the teleporter exits, especially on Death Island with Shees. "I'll just take the high road" Whoosh SPLAT!
But theres not really much Bungie can do about that, except maybe having the host able to ban use of vehicles for some people...

I don't know whether that's the best idea; Sometimes your teammates could completely suck, and I don't want to have to rely on someone else who can't drive (meaning I have to), or who lacks the skill needed to capture the flag past 2-3 guards (meaning I either have to sit in the hog and wait, to avoid it being hijacked, or help him/her out, meaning I could easily lose the hog, or come out with the flag to find that someone's now standing in the gunner position, just waiting for me (a favourite tactic of mine))

Not being able to drive with the flag will be a good addition to Halo2, I always thought it was crap how you could hop into a Ghost and drive off, I mean where would he put the flag??
Anything that promotes teamwork in team games is ace!
Also 'cos the flag carrier would have to be a passenger in a Hog i think it would be funny to hijack the Hog from the driver and take the flag carrier into a quiet corner to shoot him up a bit!

What about CTF Waterworks where you need mostly a Banshee to get around?

Good point. Perhaps bungie has made a flying vehicle with more than one passenger? That would be great :D

I wonder if you could take the Banshee underwater. Or for ctf you had to swim and fight your way through an underwater battle.
