Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

I just spawned into a game of CTF on BG on a server called "CBA ComeGetOwned". Nothing was happening at our base, a few green triangles in the distance, no gunfire going on. I jump in a hog. Someone else spawned in right after me. I waited to see if he'd jump in the gunner position– he didn't. I headed on down to the enemy base, encountering little resistance. I walk into their fort and take their flag. Before I get back into the hog the server admin bans me. WTF? Isn't it called CTF? Isn't that what I was doing? No one communicated with me to let me in on some grand strategy. And even if they were, if Your team mate gets the flag you can support him or stay in position to get the next flag. Even if I just get blown up, I'm distracting the enemy which takes their eyes off my team mates.

This has happened before. If the server administrator does not want people using hogs, don't put them in the map. I've played that way, too– and it's fun too. Am I committing some Halo sin that I'm not aware of, or is it just that some server admins hate to lose?

Maybe they were negotiating to exchange flags?

I've seen lots of servers that say STUNTS in the server title. This one didn't.

dude smurf don't go callin people an idiot... and the server host still is a jerk... mainly because if your hosting the server for stunts.. PUT STUNTS INTO THE SERVER NAME! otherwise ppl are going to try to play the game just like he did.... in a server... that said come get owned... which usually implies that their will be... oh i don't know... fighting?......... just a thought smur.... read it all and think before you flame...

Heyyo,

Usually stunt servers say stunts or "skeet shooting" the part I don't understand.. THERE'S NO SKEET SHOOTING AT ALL! The only game I know where there's skeet shooting is on NES with that NES rifle, lol, that's it. :p

Anywho, usually if the admin's not lame they warn ya. Before on the BOS DS we would say stuff like "this's a stunt server, join red n' do stunts or get kicked." Then you get 1 more warning then later the kick.

Actually, if you launch yourself up in the air (using a Warthog, Banshee, Ghost, SPNKR, or lift pad in Halo 2) you can skeet shoot with a sniper rifle. Just make sure theres no sheilds.
