That is some bad luck. I think I've had similar things happen, but we always played flag at home to score and 15 second respawn time. So, that particular scenario wouldn't have been possible. Flag carriers can always drive in Halo: CE though. I don't know if that changed in the PC version, but you couldn't change it in the Xbox version.

ROFL. I would always try and do that while I saw running away. I'd keep jumping when fired at so the flag would fly through the air.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

ahhh yes i remember when the flag physics were like that. we all had to train ourselves not to shoot an enemy flag carrier unless we were sure we could hit in front of him, otherwise the explosion would send the flag flying.

miss those days, strategy was so heavy in those games. some CTF games would last 3+ hours on sidewinder.

Campiagn Kill Count :31,745. And growing.

The Revisionaries- One of the greatest screenshot groups on B.net. With 250 members and growing.

Lol. I really want to play some Halo CE multiplayer now.

Sadly, those days are no more, with actual physics in the games.

yea, better physics can be a good thing, but the maps need to compliment them. i think halo3 is fairly good at this, just doesn't have the same feel.

Yeah, it's like a different company made a different game, just with the same names and characters. And none of the fun.

That's a bit harsh, but I unfortunately agree with you, for the most part. I find Halo 3 to be somewhat fun, but almost every change they made resulted in less fun.

It\s basically like they put a "fun cap" on. Like the unit caps in RTS games.

  • 09.22.2008 10:17 PM PDT

I wish they would release an expansion, or update, that would increase the fun cap. It's a bit too low as it is right now, and unfortunately, it looks like AU2 left it alone.

I still wish someone would make Halo 2 or Halo 3.
