Did you physically remove all data from your HDD and install windows and reinstall your apps, or did you just reinstall windows? If you did the latter, well that's the reason - reinstalling without a clean reformat can get ugly with certain apps...

Weird...check device manager for any conflicts.

I've never heard of this problem before. Could be a really messed up driver, corrupted Halo file, anything. Are you overclocking? I know from experience that even the slightest error in data on your hard drive or RAM can mess it. I'd uninstall Halo and drivers, then reinstall them.

Anyone else got ideas? I'm not much of a software guy, but I can usually figure this out. It's shocking to say I have no idea where to even start to find out what is wrong. If you've done clean install, everything is installed right...I have no clue. Maybe someone else here knows?

Heyyo,

Well, if you're not too attached to your reformat.. reformat again, n' install halo before SP2. Someone else had the same prob and he had pics of it.. for some reason installying HaloPC after SP2 can cause missing models on the rare occasion..
