How many people do you think should be able to play in a LAN game??? I have heard that 32 for Lan and 64 for Live. But my source was not reliable, but what do you guys think? Personally 32 would be nice, either 16vs16 or 8vs8vs8vs8 VERY COOL!

I would think that a LAN would have more cause there isn't a lag issue. Im gunna say 16 Online and 32 LAN. There is a better possiblity it willl be 16 only though.

They've said minimum of that, but never confirmed that that's the final number

Good luck cramming 32 players into your house, I'd like to see that.

It is 16, Bungie has said this.

They also said the game would be out last year. Now the game will be better and more people than 16 are likely to play either online or via lan, but I do KNOW that bungie is trying their hardest to get the greatest number of people playing, while not sacraficing gameplay. I'll have faith in bungie to pick the best numbers of players, for the best halo 2 experience.

Well at E3 2004, the multiplayer demo used linked xboxs, all 16 of them.

Well I play at a league and we have about 20-30 people a week, and there are 8 xboxes linked and soon to be 16, so it really won't be a problem. I am hoping for 32 for Halo 2 cuz now we have to split up and have two different LAN games going at once. It would just be nice for 32 so we can all play the same game. Plus, you could get some awesome team work going too.

I would do anything for an awsome halo 2 match, funny to see, but awsome to have. Besides thats ONLY a max of 16 T.V.'s, and with like 2 T.V's a room, that's only 8 rooms, and who's house doesn't have 8 extra rooms?

Why don't you do some research before you open your mouth and give people false information. At E3 they linked 10 xbox consoles and had five on five single ctf matches. By the way, this information is in every article I've ever read about E3 and trust me I've tried to read them all.

More of the filter dodging; you better be careful with that - Maka
