Whoa!!!!, nice work dude, excellent theory, but you forgot the reference of CPO Mendez, in Fall of reach says that he left to train the next generation of spartans, so the new spartans would be younger than MC and his spartans foes, less experienced as well, and maybe they will have a Mark VII Mjolnir armor, better weapons, etc., that would be cool to see. But again, who knows what will happen in Halo 2.

The reason I didn't include the references to the S-III file and CPO Mendez is because it is still kind of fuzzy as to what that's all about. I tried to use quotes that were direct... no wiggle room for speculation:)

Well, CPO Mendez reference it's not speculation, it says clearly in the book.

all we know is that ackerson is up to some kind of big weapons/program thingy. why don't we look over all the facts and think from there.

1.Ackerson has a deep hatred for Halsey and the Spartens.
2.He was specially intrested in the flashcloning of the Spartens as kids, and their medical records.
3.The HighCommand knows about this project, and Ackerson seems to have some degree of control over them.
4.The file Halsey discovered Ackerson's research in was named s-III
5.The other file that was with is was a file with blueprints of Castle Base in it, with sections Halsey didn't even know about (and keep in mind, she had spent years in that place with a high security clearence).
6.They discovered a forerunner artifact in the areas that she discovered on the blueprints.

if i missed any FACTS, please put them in, along with speculation

Well, I could have included Mendez... I guess:)

Not Mark VII, Mark VI. Where do you think the Chief and the other Spartans are going to be getting their Mark VI armours? The remaining Spartans have to get their Mark VI armours from somewhere and since only Spartans can wear such suits....

Halsey got the Mk. 6 suits from Castle Base. that's where they were perhaps not produced, but where they were stored.

No, not at Castle Base. Halsey installed some new components to the suits of the Spartans that were with her but they did not get new suits.

Now, these components may have been meant for the Mark VI armour but we just don't know that.

That's so pessimistic. Think of it this way. If you knew everything then you couldn't conjecture.

One of the bad things once you have Halo2 is that you're not going to be wanting anymore. You'll have filled a void in you that you've grown accustomed to having.

so lets start guessing. maybe, ackerson's planning to blow up the sun, wiping out not only the covenant fleet but every last bit of humanity.

hows that for pessimism?

Ok, i got the exact line refering to the CPO Mendez leaving to train the next spartans.

Halo: The Fall Of Reach, page 99. Admiral Stanforth is speaking to the spartans. It says exactly this.

He steped away from the podium and clapsed his hands behind his back. "To that end, i'm afraid i have another unpleasent announcement". He turned to the Chief. "Chief Petty Officer Mendez will be departing us to train the next group of Spartans. Chief?".

Peace!.

yep. and, considering that was 20+ years before the events of Halo, it has to get you wondering why we haven't seen any of these other spartens.

:)

So the real deal about this is........ will we see any of the brand new young spartans in Halo 2?, i think we will at the end of the game, ya know, everything is going to hell, MC is surounded by covies and or "new enemies", and then suddenly a rain of bullets and nades fall over the enemies and 20-70 new spartans in shiny Mark 7 Mjolnir armors appear to help MC. that would be cool.

or not so young spartens. if Mendez left to train them that long ago, they'd probably be in their thirty's by now.

They'd be wearing Mark VI armours of course. Dr. Halsey and the rest of her crew didn't create the Mark VI so... Ackerson must have.

Still, the big problem might be after the Covenant War. Who knows what Ackerson will do with his Spartans once humanity is safe. Leaderless, with a shattered UNSC there would be almost nothing stopping him from taking over and ruling humanity with an iron fist (Literally iron, considering his hand would be his Spartans)

If this was to happen, the void in the Halo communty's lives would be big enough to engulf the planet. I can't imagine how many crazy theories would be floating around... I like it:)

omfg. i am REALLY sure ackerson didn't create a new batch of spartans for one, and for two, how can u be so sure that Halsey didn't create the Mk. 6 armour. 3. Ackerson's not as evil as u make him think. sure, he's greedy, and sure isn't nice, but i really don't think he wants to conquer humanity.

First i have to say kick a** on the theory. I never read the books mainly becuz im not a fan of books, so i cant speculate on any of that. But i have to admit, it would be pretty sweet to see more spartans out there in the battle against the Covie bastards. I dont know about you guys but being Master Cheif (John) and being the only one in the world like yourself its got to lonely. So basically off the sobby crap, i hope there are more to join the fight and help open a can on the Covies.
