jumper i think your wrong. .....
Halo: The Cole Protocol will be the sixth novel set in the Halo Universe. Tobias S. Buckell, author of Crystal Rain and Ragamuffin will pen the novel, which reveals the location of the Spartan Gray Team and “takes readers into an unexplored conflict of the Human-Covenant War where unlikely alliances are formed and shattered…”
Bungie expatriate and Microsoft’s Franchise Development Director Frank O’Connor had this to say on the upcoming book, which is slated for a Fall 2008 release, “Buckell continues an excellent tradition that’s now a solid aspect of the Halo novels, bringing a fresh new perspective to a limitless universe and bringing his prodigious writing talents to bear in ways that will surprise and engage fans of the series and newcomers alike.
i think that the thought of a new game is slightly possible but not likiely.....bungie still has halo 3 and with the release of a new update they have plenty to do, and the last thing they need to worry about is another game....but im not saying that totaly out, and it would be pretty awesome of them
Yea, there is no way bungie would be making this big of a deal just to announce a book.
Not true.
Bungie could be doing this to totaly mess with our minds.
And be announcing the new book's release.
And it's not 'just a book'.
If you say that then you are only into the fact that you can "grab teh sniperz and go BOOM HEADSHOT!!!" -.-
And what evidence do you have to back this up? Has Bungie ever messed with our minds to release a book? No. Have they ever done this for a game? Yes. Twice. So, to use the scientific definitions, for this to happen for the book, just once, it would be a miracle. Twice, for the games, which was Halo 2 & 3, is a coincidence. But 3, which is happening right now, is a pattern. This is a pattern, and it is Bungie's next game.
What I have to back it up is that fact that you see writing of the battles like this in the books.
And Bungie may be into patterns but that doesn't mean it still can't be the book.
No definite ARG has been release that has anything to do with a game so you can't say this is the new ARG.
This is to get us to think.
And i think it's the new book OR a new game.
I never said it couldn't be a new game by the way, i was saying that, to me, this relates more to the books.
