I never actually knew there was a REAL story behind this...I don't see how he can live through the flood ripping up his body or he shouldn't make another appearance due to probability of dying on HALO level or truth and reconciliation. This is if you wanna get technical....I personally loved the theory that Bungie finds it funny to make a sargeant who always dies but comes back for no reason which is very ironic because in movies the black man always dies first, but the racially-loving bungie makes this completely opposite by the black man not even being able to die.lol. But I guess he really is just one man that NEVER dies...so what is the full story-he just gets knocked out and wakes up in 10 minutes or something? and what is this Borren's syndrome?

I'll be on my own side.

borens is a syndrome caused by radiation from high yield plasma, like a Covie plasma grenade burst. Sgt.johnson captured a crate a plasma nades from the covenant during the Siege of Paris VI. he used them all,but all the explosions doused him with so much radiation that it gave him the syndrome, which disrupts electrical signals in the brain.the flood forces a resonant frequency match to interface with each hosts neural system to dominate it completely.but the segeant's system is all messed up so he suvived the flood
