anyone who's played more than you has no life

anyone who's played less than you is a noob

no way man! i PLAY via other people's screen's! we rarely play split-screen anyway, but when we do, we all look.... it's like a totally different game! no, but for serious big LAN parties, i refuse to play unless the teams are in different rooms, tht way, they cant even hear your tactics! and, for the record, the motion trackers sucks

Its not actually cheating because Bungie says Halo has no cheats so blame Bungie.

Yes and No. If you're playing CTF on split screen and you want to know where you're team mates are then it's fine, but, to find where the enemy is etc. Then I would consider it cheating. Even though lots of people do it to get easy kills in slayer matches, especially the snipers.

yes it is cheating of the lowest and cheapest form if you have to cheat to win u havent won!

Its not cheating if both parties have an equal chance of doing and succeeding.

Sorry, for all the submissions, but this was just easier.

Rookie, stop taking up room on here that you don't deserve to take up. Sorry for calling you Rookie, it was just easier than Rookrautie (what kind of name is that???) Just using your own words. 6 posts in a row? Seriously man, get out of here. The reason you don't deserve that much room is that you don't have the brains not to do it. The people that deserve too have the brains not to do it. Another reason that you don't deserve it is because you're going to get owned on Halo 2 on XBL. Sorry, screenwatcher, you're gonna have find another way to win besides cheating.

I apoolgized for using that much space, there was too many topics to reply too.
I own at LAN parties all the time when my opponents are in other rooms.
You wanna talk about using brains... here is some logic for you. Cheating is using a tactic that is unavailable to anyone else. When 2 - 4 people are playing on the same screen, everybody has the same chance and availability to screen watch. I don't need it to win, but I will not whine when others use it. If they use it against me, its my own fault for not using it against them. I think instead of telling me that I have no brain power you should first get mad at Bungie for making the game the way they did. If you want to whine to anybody, don't some crying to anyone about your inability to beat someone on the same screen. Whine to Bungie. I will not get owned in H2.

Just to dash your hopes, I do not whine. I mob people. I make them sorry. I mean seriously, you can't see your enemie's screen on SP, so why should you in MP? And, I am good at catching people at screenwatching. So don't try my screen, it won't be fun for you. Plus, if they start moving all around, just find their patern and shoot where they're gonna be 1 second from then. I always do that when I'm sniping and the person screen watches. Then, I beat the crap out of them. It always hits them too.

I think that it is cheating and it is not cheating. I believe that if the player is experienced and does it it is, but if he is a noob it isn't because they won't know what part of the map ur on. A while back whenever I played Halo at my cousin's I always screen-watched. And a while back at the starting of this thread I thought to myself, "If I am good by screen watching, then I must suck if I didn't. Not long ago my friend and I started setting XBConnect and played with others so there was no way of screen-watching. I figure out that I am good and I don't need to screen-watch. I killed many and died too but not as much. So now I can say that I am good without someone saying that I screen-watch.

Screen watching is cheating. I play multiplayer and my mates always seem to know where i am and that is because they can't kill me without looking at my screen. when you have three out of four people looking at the screen then it is a pretty unfair advantage they have.
That is where who's your daddy comes in

Cheating, plain and simple. However, it's impossible to NOT do it sometimes. If you're on a split screen you cant help but see bodies moving through the other screens, if you're running through an area and catch movement on another screen, you're gonna look. Just an example of why two tvs and two xboxs is a must for good LAN

If you're playing spilt screen is kinda of hard just to focus on your tiny little box when you are sitting 3 feet away. but if you are turning around and looking at the screen at a system link game then yes.

Yes screenwatching is a form of cheating, but just barely. If you are on the same team, screenwatching is ok since in HALO you have no radio (voice cummunication), but watching oponent screens is just not cool.

I good halo player would never need to resort to this kind of behavior of course, its only sub-standard winy loosers who actualy use screenwatching in order to get a small edge in the game.

If you realy want an edge, never stop moving and watch your own screen!
