someone DOES have the advantage! I DONT SCREENHACK,but my brother does. so who has the advantage? he does. i dont use powerups. my brother does. who has the advantage? he does. some people dont play like N00BS. some people dont cheat. only noobs screenhack. if you win because of power ups and screen looking, your a N00B.

If you using powerups and sceen watching is cheating, then why did Bungie make it so available. Is that why both parties have equal chances to everything? Cheating is gaining an advantage by using methods not available to everyone. You just have a preconceived notion that yyou are some how noble when you don't use power-ups or screen watch.

I think screenwatching is cheating, almost anywhere if you do it against opponents, but with friends, it's adding a tactical dimention (sort of cheating, like knowing without communicating, but adds to teamwork).

Anyway, this can easily be decimated in Halo 2, with live and all it's possibilities. Yeah, for land games with one TV, we still have problems, but one more, and one more different room...

Screenwatching is cheating, yet it has saved my "life" on a number of occasions.

Yes it, even in tournaments or regular games it throws me off if I look at the other persons screen. It's cheating anyways!

screen watching is cheating, no doubt about it, it wrecks all your tactics when your sniping spot or posiion is found, also annoying if your trying to whack som1 in the back and they see you chasing them. use the motion tracker and knowledge of the map to find your friends

i think i shall defend screen watching as it is an art in its own right. As you say the m.c cannot see through an elites eyes in real life however, its a game ITS A GAME! and thus my single point is i watch his screen, he watches my screen, we both react to each others movements as they happen and whalla wahalla bing bong epic war and a bit. i defend screen watching as it is an artfull style in its own right however it differes from link up play and both i find enjoyable though different but watching other players does get you used to the habits of your friends but i like to think they are used to my habits too.
some people dont do it cos they dont have enough talent to watch more than one screen, well HA you lack in skill and HA it does not impare my ablity to play without watching screens HA HA HA its hard to watch 4 screens at once and not get crunched from behind but someone with true skill and might can and if you cant dont cry about it and call everyone cheaters, go get a link cable or something you yaps.

HOWEVER if a screen watcher uses his skills against someone who is unable to screen watch or is not screen watching it is an unfair advantage and is pointless as it makes for an easy victory. The idea of the game is to win and were i come from we win at all costs, you fight as dirty and as damn right vicously as you can, you people and your noblity we would eat you alive. we respawn kill, we wait for rocket launchers to reapear, we use every dirty trick you can imagine, and as long as your friends do the same and are a challange its still fun, just a lil more competitive. This poll is full of noobs.

This one is tricky. Alright if you play one on one on the same screen and you take a glance at his screen then yes you just cheated. But if you are playing anything higher such as 4on4, 6on6, 8on8, ect. and one of your teamates is being attacked you can look at your teamates screen but not your oppenates(sp?)

I completely agree with everything that no_37 says. The only ones that really complain are those that haven't mastered it yet. Now if you are taking advantage of someone that has just started playing, you are just being a jerk. But if all players are relatively equal skill, then it is not cheating because it is just as accessible for your opponent to screenwatch as it is for you to.

QUIT WHINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on who your watching. If it's a friend, it's not cheating. If it's an enemy, than it is the lowest type of cheating you can resort to.

You see, with friends, your just seeing the enemy's positions through the eyes of a friend. IF your friend even has an enemy in sight. Nothing very revealing comes up through watching a friend's screen. If your watching an enemy's screen, everything is revealed:
*Where he is.
*If he sees you.
*Where he's NOT looking (so you can sneak up on him from that direction.)
*Which weapon.
*How much ammo he has.
*How much health he has.
*If he's in an easy to snipe place.

Basicly, it's even more useful to see an enemy's screen than it is your own. You get the same info that you get from your own screen, except it's about your enemy. SO, IN SHORT, SCREEN WATCHING AN ENEMY'S SCREEN IS THE WORST AND LOWEST THING YOU CAN DO. It's also an easy way to get yourself punched. If anyone turns around while your screen watching, your most likely to get mobbed. You'll get pummeled by anyone not playing and just watching, and also some of the players too. If you have to resort to screen watching to survive, than you suck **** at halo.

yes it is cheating of the lowest and cheapest form if you have to cheat to win u havent won!

Its not cheating if both parties have an equal chance of doing and succeeding.

Sorry, for all the submissions, but this was just easier.

Rookie, stop taking up room on here that you don't deserve to take up. Sorry for calling you Rookie, it was just easier than Rookrautie (what kind of name is that???) Just using your own words. 6 posts in a row? Seriously man, get out of here. The reason you don't deserve that much room is that you don't have the brains not to do it. The people that deserve too have the brains not to do it. Another reason that you don't deserve it is because you're going to get owned on Halo 2 on XBL. Sorry, screenwatcher, you're gonna have find another way to win besides cheating.

On split screen I think it is perfectly OK, because they can see your screen too. But on a LAN game it is cheap.

It is definitely cheating! I have a friend who loves to screen look and it is really annoying. Whenever I am in a sniping spot or coming up behind him he knows where I am (and yes, in games with no motion detector). It sucks!
