Think about it, If you were a marine, would you drop your gun? Of course not!

Your not a marine, and this is a video game. But, technically if a commanding officer or soldier orders you to donate some ammunition and this is regardless of military branch, you are to do so without a question of orders.

yah, but that's scripted, they are talking about any time in the game.

I believe that is a certain section of the campaign in which that automatically happens to follow the story, hes talking about you at any point in the game, commanding a marine to supply you with some extra ammo.

I wouldnt take that as a confirmation, it was part of the plot of the level, he was wounded and couldnt go on and you cant stop him from being wounded cause he was hit before you can get there, so its not really confirmed.

But that would be a cool idea, maybe not the whole gun but some extra ammo.

it would be pretty cool to tell a marine via the xbox live head set to donate some ammo or exchange weapons just by telling him.

I told you on your thread, sorry but you can't do that, cool idea but not possible right now, unless you want to wait another year or more=not me, no thanks.

I guess its a okay idea in terms of optional, but I found that idea to be way too buggy on Rainbow Six. I found you essentially had to yell into your communicator in a equal tone and fashion in order for it to work, it wasn't woth it.

Ok I read this somewhere I know I did maybe from one of the weekly updates or maybe from a Mag or a site like IGN one of the trusted ones I know that it said that you can now be given ammo from marines.

I was talking about using the controller. The headset thing is kind of stupid.

But that doesn't mean you can ask for it whenever you want.

Where did it say this. The E3 thing was scripted so you can't tell by that.

Entirely off-topic, and I know I am feeding the fire here, but yeah Full Metal Jacket is easily one of the best military movies I have ever seen.

No it was in one of the articles that's been posted since E3 2003, can't remember which. Might've been a magazine, I don't remember. But you can ask one of the mods in a PM, it's been confirmed.

Yeah I think they did say you can switch a weapon with Marines just by holding X. But wouldn't it be awesome to give a Marine an Energy Sword? He wouldn't know what to do.
