Harbringer means well like the Apocolypse and the Forerunner dissapeared and they created Halo and Halo was created to destroy all Sentient life so in turn that would mean their name fits their Job description: The end of everything,

so this is another part of the stuff which is based on the bible and other religons.
For example ,of corse every religon has its own way of the ending for the world or all life and stuff like that, so i belive that this if Halo 04' was fired again then it would be the end of all life as we no it,The Apocalypse, End of All Days, and so on with every religon about the ending of all life. and stuff.

The dictionary defenition of Harbinger is: One that indicates or foreshadows what is to come; a forerunner.

Literally forerunner, now that's interesting. I'll have to read the book's epilogue again.

Christians don't believe in the end of all life or anything like that. We believe in more of a new beginning. "The Thousand Years Of Peace."
