I have heard a rumor that in Europe they get video games before we do. Do you think that the people in Europe will get halo 2 before America does?

You an idiot, ha ha ha ha ha! Halo 2 is not out yet, and usually games are released in North America first.

-S

Dill- be nice.

A game being developed in North America will be released in North America first, if the game is not planned for a simultaneous release worldwide.

Actualy most games and movies come out in Europe be fore they get to America. Like a lot of tv shows and other games. I have bought games from England.

It doesn't seem logical for Halo 2 to come out in Europe when Bungie studios is right here in America, but hey, what do I know? Too much but enough...?

WTF???? I live in Denmark, and i can just say, you are sooooo wrong...
We get most movies a couple of months after they come out in the u.s.
We get dvd's 6 months after you. Example, Ninja Gaiden is not even cd printed for europe yet...(xbox game) We are the ones getting frustrated after realese dates that are pushed for europe. We got xbox live 7 month after the us.
we got rainbow six sooo much later tahn you guys. Seriously it doesnt even make sense since almost all games are made in the us. Belive me ;) <<<The most frustratig thing: the halo game manual danish translation is 3 pages long :(
No info no pictures...I really dont know where you got that idea :)

In the case of Halo 2 I've read that it is a simultanious world release, which actually means that in Europe we will get it first, only by a few hours, because of the time difference.

However being friends with someone who owns a games store helps, as you get whatever game the day it is delivered to them, up to a week before official release.

Wrong..RB63 id made in canada. Most of tom clancy's games are. inclusing splinter cell. And if you want to know who gets what first? It's the country that makes it gets it first.

Some things can be had before depending on where they are developed, cause lots of video games come from japan (see there are other companies such as Sony and nintendo...) and if i know anything from social, japan is closer to all parts of europe than america is.

First it would make me wonder why a North American company would take the time to translate it to a different language before making it english... anyone else agree?
