I'm just wondering why they ban people for getting achievements in social playlists with their friends? Isn't the point of social playlists to play with one's friends? Did they not expect people to try to get achievements with their friends? It seems to me that they should have had some foresight when they made the achievements unlockable in social playlists. If they really wanted people to do it on their own, then they should have made them only available in ranked free for all like the original ones. Also, they should be focusing on people who actually are ruining the online experience for others rather than the people playing social games for achievements with their friends.
I agree. And with the added "prize" that was announced on one of the updates, your just screaming "Let's get the achievements!"
I personally don't know why they are banning for EXP boosting in the first place. Not that I condone it or anything, but I'm pretty sure in one of the update a long time ago, Bungie did come out and said that EXP boosting wasn't cheating. Just frowned upon, since it wasn't ruining the XBL experience. Now they just come out and surprise us with under 10,000 bans in 3 days.
Another thing I don't understand is, if they don't want us to "Achievement boost" then why is there an Achievement that clearly supports "Achievements boosting".
Tank Dropper 25GS
On any Mythic map while in Forge , get a kill on another player while in monitor mode.
Your basically getting these points for free. But yet, if you do it for any other achievement, you'll be banned. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
