im back! well just for mayby one post anyway.
right, well i just wanted to thank those who sent me messages of support or agreement on some of the issues i brought up. Also to COOKIE, i want to provide the olive branh of peace to you. Looking over this thread, you did provide some help to our fellow members, when it appears that bungie had abandoned this thread. you just came off to be a bit jugemental on members when clearly many had no idea they were doing anything wrong. As for the achievement boosting thing... well we are going to have to agree to disagree. I feel gamers are using the exploits easily provided to them, as they had since the KONAMI code on the NES Contra in the 80's, while you feel it is cheating and bannable. I RESPECT your opinion, and the others who feel the same. I just feel gamers , do what you, want but dont hurt others. Ghostworm, thankyou for the back up. 'tis was a spirited debate indeed.
Now BUNGIE, oh bungie, bungie, bungie. I love you guys, really i do, but sometimes i feel you guys make mistakes, just like us your followers, it's allright were all human, its all in our wirering. im not mad at cha. Just go a little easy on us sometimes, its ok. hopefully we'll get some aswers in a weekly update.
just a thought. Maby bungie should let those who truely are trying to rank boost keep doing it. If they only are 30 or 40 and falsly boost to 50 more often than not they will be most likely matched up against those legitly ranked higher and they will probaly be spanked and ridiculled in the lobby. and then then they will likley abbandon that account. For example i used to play BURNOUT REVENGE religiously before H3 came out, and made it to a rank of 200 out of 75,000, thats pretty good. Well it seemed like the pressure was allways on me to perform great when i was that highly ranked. If i had a bad game or day, i would get trashed by those lower ranked than i. And i was legit. sometimes being top ranked is not fun. i think mayby BUNGIE may be stopping rank boosters for their own good, to protect them from future embarassment. Dont just point fingers at boosters or the like, guide them to understand why a rule is put in place. Just a thought.
anyways be cool to each other people
