Hey Insane, its scav :D make sure your direct x and graphiccard drivers are upto date,
make sure nothing is running in the bg, like msn or xfire.... it could be spyware, run adaware etc,

i updated my drivers and am gonna test them later...the thing about the 1.06 update is i need it in order to play on just about every server including my clans servers making it a neccesity... but i dont think it is msn or teamspeak or the 1.06 update cause they havent been a problem since i got them so hopefully it was just the drivers

hey, did you know that the pentium 3's ran faster than you computer does?
there's your problem. you may be overloading your processor. if you computer is running amasing graphics, it can result in a processor overload. you should tone them down a little.

wait. what are your sound settings? that could be it. there's a feature (i can't rember the name), that only works on a good processor, and that might result in an overload.

does your computer freeze with the last good frame, or does the screen turn black, as if your computer whent into standby?
