I just got Halo Pc, and I keep losing my network connection. No matter what I do, or how many people are in a game, I can't play for more than a few seconds, to a few mintutes until I lose mt network connection. Even when I get right back on, it happeds again. I'm still online the whole time too. What's up?

Do you have a firewall? Cause if you do tinker with it for a bit and you might find something that has it blocked cause thats what mine did

No. No firewall.

Do you mean no firewall problems, or no firewall at all?

are u using a router for your internet connection?? Most newer router within the last year have built in firewalls, as the only way (most of the time) to hack a computer is when it is sharing files with other computers.

I did a Windows update and got a modem driver. It helped but didn't fix it. But dia-up isn't perfect...

Did you get the DirectX 9 hot fix? I had the same problem as you constantly losing the connection. Then I downloaded the hot fix and the problem went away.
If you don't have it I highly recommend it.
