He barely opened his mouth in halo 1, i hope he talks more in halo 2. i would guess so because there will be a greater story, so it should involve MC more.

Nah, I think he talks enough for what cutscenes are offered. You need to keep some of the mystery surrounding the man too; you can't just go have him doing full blown conversations with Cortana all the time. You need a character you know a lot about, but you still have to make sure you don't know everything. Bungie has achieved an awesome balance with the game and books and adding unnessary dialogue in Halo 2 may ruin things.

Oh yeah, that would be so cool. He should do lines from Duke Nukem 3D, like "Your ass. Your face. whats the difference?". That would be awesome, and while theyre at it, they should put a strip club into one of the earth city levels.

Just kidding. MC is a millitary man, he was raised to not talk.

No, not talking just added to his silent badassness!

I say no. Keep MC as silent as possible. I love his voice actor but I don't want MC turning into a witty remark making marine. Bleh.

If you guys have read the Halo books, you would understand why the Master Chief is so quiet. For one thing, he thinks that all of his fellow spartans are dead(until First Strike) and when he was in training he learned to suck it up and adapt.............

He talks when it's necessary. He wasnt raised in a very social environment so he probably didnt ever grasp the concept of 'small talk'. Though that dosent make him mean or uncomfortable to be around, he still gives encouraging gestures ( patting that marine on the soldier while in the escape pod ) and he seems nice to the people he knows better i.e. Cortana.

I just hope he doesn't keep talking like the guy out of Evil Dead. It gets so frustrating I just put it on Mute when I play it
