I have A wireless Broadband connection and i have a 1300 something Ping Rate and i don't quite get why its so bloody, slow i am connected at 45Mbps to 56Mbps depending on weather. dose anyone know why i am running so slow and is there something i can do to fix it? (My graphics card is a ATI Radeon 9200 if that matters.)

sort your games by ping, and pick the lowest ones you can find.

low ping is no lag???

duh, ping is the amount of time it takes for your computer to get a responce from the server (measured im millisecs).

You may be running into some firewall issues or you may be getting a weak signal. Have you tried to plug in a LAN wire and see if that improves you Ping? If it doesn't then it must be something with you connection. If it does then it is a wireless problem.

Heyyo,

Well, the videocard will generate lag, but that's just video lag, where your framerates will be very low at times. This can cause your ping to leap up.. especially during heavy weapon only matches in small maps like wizard... yeesh that map's bad if it's got heavy weapons... too small.

Anywho, wireless ain't too bad, but it could be the firewall built into your router. Make sure you open ports onnit, or your firewall is probably monitoring thos ports n' slowing down your game very badly.
