You've got to think crazy, of course, because you only get innovation by refining insanity. - Jason Jones

Ok, for those that have read the books, we know ackerson hates halsey and her spartans mainly because her program got more funding than his. I wonder, since they were flash cloned, if he could clone them, and they would be perfect spartans. The spartans now have flaws, not major of course, but the ones he could make would be perfectly suited for their augmentations, therefore would be better prepared for the job. If he makes the clone spartans, that means, another john117. Does that mean a new masterchief. And another thing that has had me wondering ever since i read it, was why did halsey and kelly leave. In case you guys havn't noticed im more into the storyline than most people are into the graphics and gameplay.

There is no such thing as a perfect flash clone.

all flash clones die of inherent genetic defects a few years later.

first of all ackerson is a cournel, and he is completely against the spartan project. he hates them. and secondly, why wouldn't they be able to fix those problems with flash cloning.

They could have improved the technology in the past 40 years since they cloned the Spartans.

I don't think they will have been very busy with cloning tech, while they are distracted with losing the Covenant War and having the outer colonies glassed!

They still had 20 years between the cloning of the Spartans and the begining of the war with the covenant.

actually they may have tried to improve it because they know that the spartans wont last long, so they may have done it in preperation for the death of the first spartans.
