Hi guys. I bought Halo PC a while ago but I couldn't play it on my old computer. Now I have a new computer, but when I searched for my game to play it, I just found the CD (which I had on a CD case), and the booklet. I tried the microsoft's support page , but since I can't install Halo, I don't have the number they require. am I screwed? Can someone help me? I dont want to engage in piracy, but I dont want to spent another 30 bucks either. Thanks.

Hey i dont wont to sound like a ass but you have to buy the game agian there is no way someone is going to give you a free cd key. ANd to be honest we dont even know if you own the game legally or downloaded it illegally. Sorry.

Heyyo,

Heh, I used to be horrible with cd keys... used to jiffy them right onto the cd so if I ever lost the case the game was still playable. :P I've lost the cases to a few of me good old games. Thank god I'm older, the weak little sleave that they give you for HaloPC? useless. Sure it's reinforced carboard or something.. but it's no traditional plastic cd case.

Yeah, you'll probably need to buy the game again dude unless you have the receipt somewhere..

I find that if you open up your cd case, like, behind where the cd clips in? throw your receipt there for all your games. Then if ya ever have probs? just pop it open n' your recepit's is always within reach. For games like halo? I just threw it into the box.

Contact Micrsoft. I believe they can issue you a new CD key, but they charge like 10 bucks to do so, and they delete you old one... Now that I think about it I might be thinking about if you lose the CD... You can contact them to see... I keep all my CD keys typed on in a Word Document and saved on a couple of computers and backed up. I despise keeping up with paper because it always gets lost.
