Does anyone know if Halo CE can work with Vista? I'm having no luck.

Thanks,

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Both Halo PC and Halo CE work fine for me.

Thinking of something witty to write here since 2004...

Custom Edition works fine on my Vista PC. Are you using a Nvidia 8 series video card?

What's your problem exactly?

I get to the first page where it says "Halo" and I get the music for the menu, but it stays at that screen, and begins to flash black lines across the screen. It must be something to do with my video card in retrospect, but my hardware is much more than adequate for Halo PC. I'm currently running a Nvidia 9500 GT.

Any ideas?

Did you tried running as admin or changing your compatibility to XP?

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Try turning off anti-aliasing.

Halo, and Halo Custom Edition worked perfectly fine for me when I used Vista.

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

It works.

H1 and Halo Custom edition name: madkiller92
xfire:madkiller92

Right click on your desktop and click "Nvidia Control Panel"

Then, under "Selcect a Task" expand "3D Settings" if it isn't already expanded. Next, Click on "Manage 3D settings". Under "Global Settings", you will see the third option down the list names is "Antialiasing-Mode". Click on the drop-down box next to it and click on "Application-controlled" . Then click on "Apply" in the bottom right corner (will only show AFTER you do all these steps.

Damn that's a lot of quotations.

somewhere in the heavens...they are waiting. I love the Marathon Trilogy.
Halo CE will always be the best game in the Halo franchise. What a perfect game.

Works for me!
