Mabie they will just be a little faster and have better aim and you will see them with better guns more often.

I just hope that one Marine can take one grunt or jackal, unlike Halo1 where a single Grunt/jackal could kill several marines (in some cases).

Well I've done some Marine vs Grunts+Jackals experiments before and normally the marines win (this is on Legendary mind you). I mainly did these experiments on Truth and Reconciliation.

What I did was throw grenades at the two shade turrets and took out the Elites. I killed them so that it was more like the actual war before Halo. (In which Elites and Hunters were not present)

And normally those five marines come out of it alive. If not all of them then at least 3. That is pretty damn good for facing nearly 20 Grunts and 4 Jackals.

Well you know i'm almost very sure that even the marines will be different...I mean come on you saw them driving a warthog, and they were doing it right, thats a big step from them zoomin around like retards in a Ghost.

Yeah, thats true, but I have tryed for like 3 hours and I managed too get only one out...cause I made sure I got rid of the sword elites first, and took out the grunts and jackals with grenades, and the hunters were easy, the poor guy died though....when I opened the door down below.

I think the ODSTs will definetly be more tougher to take down, thats a given, as for being smarter, maybe, better, yes. Thats just what I think though.

That's true, however they may have been driving on a pre-scripted course around the city...
But lets hope that they weren't anyway - Yay for Hog driving AI Marines!
