this would -blam!-!

  • 03.21.2005 8:54 PM PDT

The problem is the majority of Bungie.net users are poor players who dont care what happened to the Halo series. They love running around in vehicles, duel weilding and sniping people easily, so as much as we would all love this, it will never happen.

It's bizarre to think that Bungie won't do this when they could make millions. But it will never happen.

I know the odds are greatly against us, but if we get enough supporters, Bungie has to at least consider the benefits of producing the game.

But you have to realize, Bungie doesn't own Halo's physics engine anymore. That awesome homebrew trickster's paradise of an engine, went to Wideload studios when the guy who made it (don't remember his name) left Bungie to work there.

Halo Live with new maps n' stuff would -blam!- all other games imo. Even h2.

  • 03.22.2005 12:06 AM PDT

Halo CE or PC or Xbox Halo 1.It's all cool....

Personally..I'd rather play Halo 1 LAN games rather than Halo 2...for some reason I can see more fun in Halo 1 than 2....if you think I'm drunk...or retarded...by all means argue away.

It just seems logical to make this game. Not only would it make the entire gaming community happy, but it would also produce a huge profit.
*guys, please don't just vote, post something!*

There are 400,000 people playign halo 2 on Live{ roguhly} and only 1.5 million of the XBOX community have Live. That's not a lot of money. Also this question has been answered many times, go HERE. Also not all of the 400,000 would by a game they already have.

Poll: Would you buy an xbox live enabled version of HaloCE?  [closed]
Yes, for sure!:  86%

No, I'm satisfied with what I got.:  14%

This topic was specifically created to show Bungie the amount of support for an xbox live enabled HaloCE. I know that there is a large majority of gamers out there who feel dissapointed that Bungie strayed so far away from the formula in HaloCE, that made it so great. I beleive that Halo 2 is a great game and a great achievement in itself, but it does not appeal to the old-school HaloCE fans who spent so much time honing their skills. All I ask is that Bungie consider what your true fans have to say, and consider their desire to play the game they love, lag free, on xbox live.

Please: Don't just vote. Bungie needs to hear how strongly you feel about this! Thanks and keep this post alive!

i have 4 copies of halo:CE and 4 copies of Halo 2

i have 2 copies of both Mac and Xbox halo:ce an unopend copy of each

i own 2 vcopies of both limited edition and non limited editon of halo 2 an unopened copy of each

i regret buying my halo 2 copies cause that game is dying fast

and i would gladly pay £100 for Halo:Ce live enabled and i would buy 2 copies of it thats £200 and its like £1.75=>$1 and i know a bunch of people who would do the same. and i'm sure there are countless more british people who would also so bungie would make a lot of money from britan and probably thousands more from americans

I think Bungie should make the multiplayer levels of Halo CE availible for Halo 2 and can be downloaded through Xbox Live. I believe making the levels would be easier than making a new program to run Halo CE over Xbox Live. Also a better chance of getting the levels instead of a new game.

Shoot, I'd pay $100. They say they don't recycle. It wouldn't really be recycling, after all they farmed out Halo for the PC to Gearbox, was that recycling? Why can't they do the same thing for a Live enabled Halo 1?

Your links do not really answer our questions, because we are not really asking any. We're not asking if they are working on Halo 1.5 or if they plan to make updates to HaloCE. Instead, we want Bungie to consider the benefits of making the game xbox live enabled. And to say that its not a lot of money, is not very accurate. At this time a little more than 80% of the people on this forum (who represent the halo online community) would be willing to buy another copy of HaloCE if it was xbox live enabled. That doesn't include the people that don't have xbox live and were waiting to get it, only to be disappointed.

if they did this they would make just as much money as they did for halo 2 people would eat this up why would they not do this if there is so much demand for it. come on they are supported by microsoft surely they can do this. gearbox did a good job on the computer version so why cant they do the same thing they did for halo computer version. Please just do it

There'd be little profit, out of the 8 million who have Halo 2, and the 5 million who have Halo 1, and around 1.5 million Live users{ Of course, a lot don't play Halo, and some wouldn't spend money on a game they already have, it wouldn't make sence. Most of their fans wouldn't be able to by the game.
