Has anyone ever brought up to Bungie or such companies like New Line to make a movie called HALO (Movies Evolved), like maybe a trilogy starting with the Fall of Reach? Please post any comment to this.

Sure it would be cool, but it wont happen, bungie and microsoft dont want to risk screwing up, thats why halo 2 is taking so long, so it is even better then we can imagine

I think if they find the right director and put lots of work into it, it should turn out well. This would make Bungie unbelievably rich.

Someone already made a poll about this and i thought it would be pretty cool to have a movie and it wouldn't really mess them up because people wouldn't like the movie, but they would still like the game and which Halo fan wouldn't want a movie about Halo?

With all the right people, they'd pull it off.

At least, in the next decade. I'd probably have a kid or two to take to it.

And i'm only 16. *^_^*

I believe bungie said that the reason they wouldnt want to make a movie was because technology hasnt evolved enough to make it how they would want it. in other words it would look cheesy and bungie doesnt want that! (i heard this some where, but i forget where)

I think tech is evolved enough, look at Star Wars and lord of the RIngs, but I think if the people who mad The Lord of the Rings and the people who made Saving Private Ryan came together, that would do the trick.

Bungie has said that they've had people wanting to buy the rights to make a movie, but they've turned them down and Microsoft isn't going to force them into it. The only way a Halo movie would be made is if Bungie was guarunteed complete oversight rights, including the ability to axe the movie at any point in production if they don't like where the movie is heading, like what Stephen King requires for any movies made from his books, because too many of them have been screwed up. Few movie studios would be willing to take this kind of risk. But on a personal note, I think that a movie based on The Fall of Reach would be awesome. An epic story, incredible Sci-Fi battles in space and on the ground, the development of the Spartans from kids into advanced super-soldiers, and some humor thrown in for good measure. The only problem would be that you'd be left hanging at the end if you hadn't played Halo.

Twelve Large ²

An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep.

I don't see how that would be a problem. Just buy an Xbox (Xbox Next) and a copy of Halo!

From the makers of House of the Dead, Cory Feldmen is... The Master Chief. I just don't have much faith in hollywood interpretations of popular video games.

And also, Written and directed by Jackie Chan...

just as long as vin diesil doesn't play the master cheif and just as long as they put as much time and heart into making that movie as they did the game, if a movie ever is ever made that is.

The ending would be exactly like Terminator 3's ending. Yeah, the action was great, but the ending sucked.

If there was ever a halo movie the coolest thing ever would be for it to have a slow frame rate for fast-moving ground battles and low camera angles like in saving private ryan or band of brothers, so that it seems like youre in the heat of the action. That mixed in with some crazy sci-fi space dogfights like in star wars or something.

It wouldnt work out if you have a movie, because not to many people would want to go to it because (it based of a console game.) Yes, I would love to see a Halo movie, but I dont think that any director would want to make a movie off a game because it might get low ratings except for ppl that like Halo, or Halo 2.

I think that for the halo movie to be made there needs to be at least one good movie about another video game, i think it's possible to make a good movie out of it. It's just movies based off of games have been all but stellar........but then again Super Mario Bros wasn't that bad.....

i'm kidding...
