-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Urrrrrgghhhhh..... I'd forgotten how ridiculous this mission was on Legendary. I've been keeping track of my deaths and so far I'm at forty-three. I have to beat it! How did I do this last time? I'm on;y at that part where you're just getting onto the ship for the second time.

It's really not that hard. The tricky part is getting to that turret and holding off the Flood there.

When facing Flood vs. Covenant together, try and bait them, and be patient.

If you see a Spec Ops elite, run like hell.

When dozens of Flood are around, nades are your friend.

Oh, and keep the shotty with you at all times.

I have yet to do it either.

On Legendary there are several areas that seem to give people fits on Keyes which either involve the flood or the spec op (black) elites:

The two areas that the flood re-spawn several times are a matter of patience, a well planned route/dodge scheme, and a very fully loaded shotgun. Do not try to muscle through these areas, kill while backpedaling, and always work your way back around a corner to reload while backing up. Once they have gone through all of thier spawns you can relax and survey the carnage!

The black elites are another story, they dodge and lob plasmas at you and have to be dealt with in another manner. You are best off with several fully loaded needlers at your disposal, and alot of plasmas laying around. During the run up to "rescuing" the captain I make sure that I have grabbed up and then dropped each needler on my way. This makes the game save them for later use, rather than eating them when it sanitizes the floor on occassion. You can get up to 4 fully loaded needlers near the exit above the hanger bay. When you have finished with the battle at the keyes flood form and worked your way back out to the hanger bay have a needler and a plasma pistol to take out the wave of covies on the top level. DO NOT USE PLASMA tosses towards where your stocked needlers down the hall may be or you will blow them off the level and onto the hanger floor where they do you no good. Stay on the third level and use the needlers to pick off the elites on the floor of the hanger AFTER you have taken out the ones on the level below you. The best way to do this and not die is to go to the far end of the top tier on the side where the banshees are and use the needler to repeatedly take out the elites that spawn from the doorway directly under that section of the platform. You take out a wave, then move towards the center of the hanger and the next wave will spawn, move back over and take the new wave out, repeat till they stop spawning. Then you can focus on the elites on the floor.

Alot of people do not realize that once you get to the final battles of the hanger, the shotty is a weapon that does virutually no good. Needlers, both pistols and lots of grenades are the best way to go. The shotty is great if you want to do all of your work up close and personal but since there are virtually no more flood at this point, you cannot re-stock on ammo at any point.
