Halo 2 is an amazing game, and I would play it more, but for some reason I can't speak to people online. Back in the old days of the original Xbox before the 360 came out, I never spoke using the mic. I had the setting so voice communication is disabled on. Since then times have changed, I got a 360 and actually started talking to people. But for some unknown annoying reason, when I set my voice communication to enabled, it still doesn't work as if it's disabled. I've tried all sorts of stuff, but it just won't work! Please help!!

You should have said whether it is wireless or not. If it's wired, your mic may be at fault.

If wireless it could be the mic itself, although I will have to ask you if you took the right steps to connect/reconnect the mic in the first place.

When you first got the 360, you had to connect the controllers to the 360 itself by punching the reconnect button on the 360 and then you punched the reconnect button on the controller. At that point your controller found the 360. There's also a reconnect button on the mic so, try pushing the reconnect button on the console first and then hit the mic reconnect so it can seek..

I'm sorry, but did you read a word of what I said? At which point did I say it was the mic that was the problem. My mic is fine and I know how to use it, as for the controller, I have had my xbox since the day it came out. I think I know how to use the controller.

The problem is that for some reason all xbox original games assume I have voice communication disabled, when I don't.

TEAM Free For All? I can't wait to see how Bungie pulls this one off.

Yeah, it's awesome. Legendary Brawl is the world's only 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 team multiplayer experience.

sign into halo 2 go to your friends list then press X then go to voice output and select xbox communicator. ONly advice i have.

Mighty touchy, aren't you? You never said whether you knew the mic was working or not. If you can't communicate through the mic, how do you know it's working? You were not specific as to what you knew worked and what you knew did not work nor did you inform anyone on how knowledgeable you are.

Please, don't apologise for something you don't mean.
