Terminus summons up enough courage to stick his head out, sees whats happening and goes back to hiding in his ship with the rest of his men.

I don't feel like playing anymore...everyone else seems to have uber-powerful characters which takes the fun out of it for me. I think something like this game would be fun if we had like a ''dungeon-master'' type person to control the settings and the other army and such. Oh well, bye guys.

Aboard the Celer Manus Dei, Dolorous notes with grim resolve that Xeroh will have to be dealt with... Destruction on that scale can not be ignored. He plots an intercept course with Xeroh, letting the engines take their sweet time. He could technically inject more power from the core, up to 20% capacity, and get there hours before her, but he needs time to think on this. He notifies the Consulates of Auir of the impending crisis, and mandates them to step up preparations by any means neccesary for war...

In a quiet moment inside subspace, he shakes his head and sighs... ignorance is truly a terrible weapon in the hands of the powermad...

Halo CMDR finally spots Xeroh's ship ahead, as he slowly edges closer. The sound of his ship's engines resonates throughout the hull, as it gave 95% power output. Her ship was very fast, but the Arcangel2 was faster. At this rate, he couldn't intercept the ship in time before she gets to the center of the galaxy or her ship opens fire on them.

"Arm the QS gun, divert 45% power output to the weapons", Halo orders. This shot had to be spot-on. At this extreme speed, if he missed, he could hit Xeroh's ship. He punches in a set of launching coordinates, and fires the the QS gun. A black hole builds directly in front of Xeroh's ship. If she continued on that course, she would get sucked into the black hole.

The resulting blast tears through Halo CMDR's ship envolping it in a ball of fire. Luckily Terminus was hiding in escape pod.

Dolorous, sensing Halo Cmdr's crisis, teleports him aboard the Celer Manus Dei as it exits from subspace near Xeroh's ship.

"What the?! What just hit us?!" Halo exclaims. "Sir, rear port side escape pods destroyed, rear port deck 1 at 30%, rear port deck 2 at 10%, and rear port decks 3 through 4 at 78%! Apparently, we were hit by some unknown cruiser. Speed decreased by 11%. Overall, minor damage", one of the crew members replies. "Crap, forget about that reckless cruiser. We need to keep following that ship." The ship's engines flare to life, and continue advancing closer towards Xeroh's ship.

Xeroh sees a familiar flash of light behind her, yet before she can turn around, she feels... rather senses, those hauntingly clear eyes boring into her back, and she freezes. Before she can move again, the voice, now piercingly clear and evidently masking an overwhelming power, resounds inside her head, so loud that it seems to shake her skull from it's impact:

This is your final warning. If any movement from your ship is detected, you will feel the deadly stroke of justice upon your unsheltered soul. You have been warned.

Can someone recap for me? Didn't join earlier, because of a LAN party. Wasted everyone's sorry butt, BTW. I read Excomm's starting post. I'm still allied with Ex and Pink, etc.

"Dolorous! Please teleport me back to the Arcangel2. I need to stop Xeroh before she tampers with the relics! I have the accident under control." Halo asks.

Of course. I'll give your ship a lift as well...

Halo is intsantly transported back to his own ship, which to his amazement is now in a flanking position of Xeroh's craft.

Well Xeroh, what say you?

Halo is instantly teleported back to his ship. Amazingly, he finds Xeroh's ship halted near the black hole and his own ship in a flanking position.

Halo attempts to establish a comlink with Xeroh's ship.

I'm not going to play this war half as much. I liked it better when everyone was at the bottom in an endless struggle for power, with only a few allies to aid them. This is like having a country in a golden age of peace. Beautiful thought, but doesn't make much of a game. Imagine Halo as a game where the MC has to make friends with the Covies. "Press X to shake hands with Elite 00003. Press B to be inconsiderate and ignore him." I am in no way disloyal to Aiur, but right now I hope that Xeroh wins a few, because this whole "whamo, you are transported to the toilet before the xlax gun can take effect!! The xlax is transported out of your system in a flash of pure glory!!!" thing is getting a bit stale. lol.

You're pretty much good go and jump in, though here's a minimal backstory:

Xeroh is on a quest to discover the "Godsends", like the Titans in mythology. I suspect them to be referring to my masters, the Jjarro, and so I think that instead of the actual beings she's looking for, she should find relics of their power which could upset the balance of the universe. That's the balance I have to preserve, so I'm trying to stop her.

You can join in as pretty much any nation, faction, city state, planet, race, or anyone you want, so long as it's within reason.

But now Terminus has Xeroh's ship!
(but he can't get it to work.)

*laughs* Well, nice viewpoint, and I agree, but that's why we need you to join! We need more factions. I was starting as a grunt myself, but it kinda shifted into this by the time Laser War 2 ended.

Alright, thanks, yo. With the approval of the Triumvirate, I am going to be a hermit, and live in a hut on the waterfront on Pink Menace's land. BTW, Dolourus, I'm glad that someone other than me kept their avatar the same. It's hard to recognize people. lol.

Yeah. I've been joined longer than you have, in a way. Pink Menace and I were allies at the very beginning of LW2, and Pink was the one with the idea of the empire of peace thing, although credit for organization goes to the T.
