Well, naturally I'm playing Halo: Combat Evolved. I played it through once on easy when I originally bought the game, about five months after its release. After beating the game, I thought, wow this game rules. And then instead of selling it with all my other games when I needed some cash, I just let my friend borrow it. A few months ago, he finally let me have it back (very kind of him) and I decided that instead of play it through on easy again, I could play it on the next difficulty level and see if I can beat it like that. So I did.
Holy crap, beating Halo: Combat Evolved on the Normal difficulty setting was a real freakin' chore! But I did it. So then I thought, maybe I could beat the game on the Heroic difficulty setting. So that's where I'm at right now. Trying to beat the game on Heroic. It's being a real pain in my posterior. It is. I've been at it on the Heroic difficulty setting now for the past two or three months trying to beat it and it's just whipping me left and right. I finally, just last night, gotten past the fifth mission, the one that's all snow and you gotta get to the control room. Well I just now got there. Damn that's hard. I think I'd be freakin' insane to try it on Legendary, but if I ever DO beat it on Heroic, I'm probably going to try, as I'm like SUCH a glutton for punishment.
So yeah, Halo: Combat Evolved is holding me over until Halo 2's release. Well, Halo: Combat Evolved and whatever I find that looks interesting to rent at Blockbuster Video. I'm probably going to be purchasing Dead or Alive 3 from Blockbuster Video soon (they have it on sale there for $19.96) because I've always liked Ryu Hyabusa from his Ninja Gaiden days.
I'm WANTing to get my hands on a copy of Spider-Man: The Movie 2, but they're like completely all out at Blockbuster. Guess that means I'll just have to buy that game like I did the first Spider-Man game. Oh well. So yeah, now you know what I play.
Cheers.
