When I play Halo on the PC it takes up the whole screen so i can't see the desktop. What I want is either 1 of 2 things.
1) A way yo minimize the game, not so its on the taskbar but so its a window on the desktop that doesn't take up the whole screen.
2) A way to open up the game in a small window.
Thanks for any help. Its probably a key command I don't know.

right click the halo icon & choose properties

in this line "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\halo.exe"

add a -window

so it looks like this "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\halo.exe -window"

You can always just press the key on your keyboard that brings up the start menu(the one that has the microsoft sign on it or w/e), that should minimize the Halo window.

1) windows key on keyboard
2) modify your shortcut so it has -window at the end (as described in more detail earlier)

The only reason I could imagine you would want to do this is so you can do other stuff while playing Halo (unless of course if you just want to listen to music and dont have any good playlists...) but why would you want to do other stuff than Halo?? Just minimize Halo by pressing alt-tab, then maximize it when your done doing whatever..
