Title says it all, I plugged in the controller, it connected with the PC, but H2V doesn't respond to the controller. Is there some sort of "use controller" box that I have to check?

But where?

You may need to download these drivers. Go hunt-down the drivers for your controller on that website.

Yeah, but it's rigged up with a play and charge kit (which is a usb connection), and the PC recognizes it, but i guess thats not enough. thanks.

The play and charge kit only supplies power. You need to get the Xbox 360 wireless receiver.

The thing is that the PC recognizes the controller, and if you look under attached devices its listed, it just doesn't do anything. I guess its worth a shot buting that thing though, thanks.

Yeah it recognizes that what it is charging is an xbox 360 controller, but the play and charge kit only supplies power, the signal is still wireless and thus the wireless gaming receiver is needed.

Once the controller is correctly installed to your computer start the game. Go to the settings and there should be the option to switch from keyboard and 360 controller controls. Once you change to the controller options, the buttons will alreadly be set to the controls used on the control for the xbox version of halo 2.

Let this simply stuff:
The Play and Charge Kit will not carry any signal. It connects to the USB port of your PC and the Port on the back of the controller. The signal is still wireless and the computer recognizes the play and charge kit only. You will need the Wireless Gaming Receiver to actually use it.
