There was alot i didnt like about hunters in Halo, many of the issues where discussed last night, mainly the orange spot, too slow etc.
But another thing that annoyed me is when you hit them with a vehicle they die. In halo 2 i think if you drive at them head on with a warthog, they should like raise their shields, like a sort of ramp, and as you go over the shield, they lift it and flip you over, so you have to fight them on your feet. So the only way to kill them in a warthog, or ghost, would be to come from the side or rear while they are distracted. Also they should use their shields more often, in the books it says the shields are as thick as battle ship armour, and pratically impervious, again i think this should be the case. they should raise their shields and only lower them slightly too shoot. Or maybe cause there is two hunter always, one could shield whilst the other shoots, this would mean you'd have to get up close to harm them efficiently, and upclose they ould be very strong.
Basically in halo 2 i think hunters should be the unstoppable force they where meant to be, and people should dread walking into a room, only to hear the clinking of metal noise the hunters make. This would be much more preferable to the Halo CE in which you would enter the room, laugh and think to yourself, i can get through this room and only use 2 bullets!
