Ok Bungie since I'm not going to bother with calling a hotline at this time in the morning, I thought I should bring up something you really need to fix: your matchmaking system.
or at the very least the handling of EXP and what goes on when someone quits/disconnects/loses/etc.
I just recently got into a DLC FFA game yesterday and here are the stats of it:
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=799923 794&player=XxLightkunxX
I came up on top FIRST PLACE but unfortunately my internet disconnected itself, and thus, Xbox Live, at the very same time the game ended. However, I did get the screen briefly saying "XxLightkunxX wins!" and thus I felt good. I had a decent 366 EXP so I felt I deserved that +1 point I worked my ass off for.
What happens?
The exact -blam!- opposite: I LOST a point. Why the hell for, Bungie? Earlier in the day I got disconnected and I lost NO points for it in the middle of the game....but I win a match and THEN disconnect on accident and I lose a point? No. Absolutely -blam!- not; no gamer should have to deal with this small (but easily) frustration like this.
Now unless you're going to give me a legitimate reason as to why this is OR reimburse me for that point because of the network issue...then please let me know. Or don't. I don't know what to expect since you guys love to make fun of us fans so much nowadays on your Q&A parts in the weekly updates.
I'm constantly all the more frustrated with your handling of the system and EXP in itself yet I continue to throw myself at Halo 3 and work my ass off to just simply have fun, and be competitive too. It's only a matter of time before someone like me just simply gives up because you do absolutely nothing to remedy the MAIN situation people want fixed.
But no...next week it'll be "We're making a new dashboard with tons of cool new gadgets!" or something else useless like that.
BTW, good job absolutely failing at Bungie Favorites this week. >:[
