This fixes the spacing issue on my machine.

Everything is working how it should for me now. It's nice to have that script back up to par, and I must say 'thank you' :-)

Daza, I like the idea a lot. Can we get a scripter here to see if it's possible?

I like the idea too. Yes, it's possible. You could either pass the forum post with GET parameters, or store them in GM, although the tough part would be parsing and displaying the forum post tags. You'd strip the HTML, so you'd need to convert '<a href='link'>Text</a>' to [url=Link]Text[/url] etc.

The other option would be to figure out the Bungie.net AJAX event of clicking on the 'quote' button, but that would be unnecessarily complex, and it wouldn't provide the instantaneous results that the other methods would yield.

You could get the member link in the button handling code on the forum page.

It is a good idea with potential.

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

I'm just getting on this script train, and the newest form of the Coup d'Bungie doesn't work in my version of Firefox. I have downloaded Greasemonkey and have Coup d'Bungie 2.5 installed. Do I have to remove 2.5 before I can get the newest one? Thanks!

I think the newest version of coup is 3.5
Also, you will not be able to use coup d bungie until the guy who runs it gets his computer hooked up at his new house. He told us it will be back sometime this week.

By the way, a lot of scripts will not work without coup working.

Ah, I see. That seems very inefficient.

Would it also be possible to have the entire post (along with the link and quote marks) copied to the clipboard?

More importantly, would it also be possible to have the button added to posts from a thread which is locked? AND when you hit the button, will it also be able to take all of the BB code formatting with it as well? -- now that would be fantastic.

Probably not. There are ways, but they vary from browser to browser, and at best you'll have a popup box asking you if this is okay every time (I think), so, unless it is a crucial feature, it most likely won't work.

If I understand you properly, then, yes, this should be possible.

[b]Funkbrotha10's Latest Script!

With great pleasure I bring you the *drumroll*

Forum Cop Toolbar

This nifty little script is to assist forum cops in linking people to the proper thread.

"How Does This Work?"

It is only visible when you are at the post reply page. If you scrol down below the text box you WILL see it. once you see it and have decided which forum to link them to you simply copy and paste the forum links into one of your links.

Yes that is what it is for, instead of the forum cops just going

wrong forum

lock please

it will be much easier for them to link to the right forum

I'm so over all of this.

I appreciate the effort for the tool bar, but Duardo's Posting Tools script is much better and a lot more effective.

Posting Tools was developed by SpeedySurfer a while ago. Unless there's some extension/modification I'm forgetting.

Nobody is criticizing your coding/development abilities, just pointing out that it's been done before. Don't sweat it.

Duardo did Posting Tools 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 if I remember correctly.

I see. In fact, I believe you are correct considering that my version doesn't have the forum links, and the author is SpeedySurfer.

Yeah I think the only one with the forum links is 2.0. I used 2.2 for a while until I realized what I was missing =/

I do believe that was sarcasm.
