I will temporarily be removing all profile data from my server on November 1st. I won't delete them.

This is to make it easier to develop, as well as cleaning up some things.

Ok thanks for letting us know.

Giving jmh this code and letting him run with it, I'd say.

Restrictions applied, of course, jmh could at least return functionality to the ModStalker, if not the uStalker. I'm sure he would be willing to go along with your requests if he could at least use the script to return functionality to the ModStalk. Hell, if jmh applied his two possible data retrieval systems and tied them in to this, the ModStalk might almost return to the accuracy it had pre-update.
How would it sound if you could still stalk other people, just not moderators?

Also, just remember that the dates/times of posts/edits that are sent to my database are only the times on posts that people with the script 'see'. So, if no-one 'sees' a person's new post, the 'last posted' date/time in my database will be still be the one before the new post.

The whole design is dependent upon how much lurkingness (if that's even a word) there is. Maybe some leaderboards to tally up the people who 'see' posts before others - try keep the incentive there, because after all, the more people that use the script, the more historical the records will be and the quicker they can be seen by others.

Still very much in the design phase here.

Edit: If I did it properly, I could even support some of those B.net achievements too.

Ok I like the sound of these scripts and everything but I cant figure out how to get them working on IE. If I can get some help that would be sweet.

I understand the basics behind the system, Iggy and I (well, mainly Iggy) semi-designed something almost exactly the same about a year back, and planned on using it in a now-defunct script.

I don't understand why you're not willing to allow moderator tracking, though. I hardly think that abuse of the system was equal to the benefit it gave the users, much less, in fact. It's your opinion and I respect it, but I don't see your logic.

What do you think?

Eh? Yay? No?

I feel like moderator tracking would be a waste of server space and processing power. Really, that is why I did not do that script. I mean this is still a computer that I use daily. In case you were wondering.

I don't get what that's supposed to be.

And I'm not insinuating that the defunct designation of the script is your fault, Iggy, nor am I trying to covertly ask for its creation now. I understand you're busy and need your computer for yourself; it's k. I just wonder why, now that the script has prevented itself in the form of daza's tinkering, it could not be used towards a moderator tracking goal.

And, again, I respect daza's opinion, and it is his work to do with as he chooses. I just don't understand it.

I don't want to do it because people were using it to find gaps in moderation to troll the forums.

Nope. User scripts also work in Chrome and Opera - out of the box.

With the exception being scripts that utilize Greasemonkey-specific API functions (eg, GM_*). Chrome has a partial implementation of the Greasemonkey API, but most of the time scripts don't work anyway. But it's getting there.

But other than that, almost every user script I've tried has also worked in Chrome. And the browser I test/develop/debug my scripts with is also Chrome.

Is there some kind of script that allows you to sort through games played? (Ex. Filter so I could only see Doubles games, etc.)

Why not make it to where you can type n which page number said Forum is on, then instead of searching for each page every time, we click the forum, and it'll take us to the page?
