I'm not used to going without new scripts for this long. I mean, seriously. It's been like 2 whole weeks!

I was thinking about a mass report helper system.

When I find myself reporting someone, I wish that I could just have people report it with me without telling them specifically. Since I frequent the Halo 3 forum, I find myself dealing with trolls and other member will not report them, or even with single posts that I think (rarely) are highly offensive, I think they will be hidden in about 5 minutes and they aren't.

So, it would work like this:

You see an offensive post, you click report.
A confirmation will appear and asks you if you would like to mass report this post?
If you click yes, other users will either (haven't decided):
- receive notification (on left or right of screen, discrete) and ask to view the post
- display partial post contents and ask if user wants to report
- automatically reports

I was thinking towards the first one.

Sounds cool, Iggy, but... if a ton of people use this script, wouldn't notifications be popping up all over the place?

To prevent people from abusing the system, how about all users (save for a special few who are given allowances to be responsible) can only mass-report about... say, 5 posts per hour. And every 10, 30, or 60 minutes (can you make it dependent upon a user's preference?) the user could have the posts reported since the last time his system updated become notified to him.

Also, how would the system know when to drop reports? If somebody downloaded the script a month down the line, would it display all the reports in that amount of time, or would it only do it from the point of download? And if somebody has it downloaded but doesn't log in for a week, what would happen then?

Or you could have a wall of reported posts you can swift through on your own accord.

Let's do this idea lol.

The only problem that I see if you did this, what if someone does the report on a generally useful thread that people use often. Would you have to click a button just to see what the thread has to say every time you go to the thread?

True, but some people might not really search through it at all if that's the way it was. Unless it was like a EchoFon-type setup (which would be awesome).

1. It's kinda hard to see the exact font color embedded on the border square.

4realz?

What does the red refer to? I saw a very recent post and the user had a red border, while a user that hadn't posted as recently had a blue border.

What? I need proof. There is no way someone can have a red border.

Iggy, Whilw I love this new design, I was wondering if it ws possible to only have a line at the bottom of the avatar. Basically instead of a border around the avatar, just a line.

Also, if this baby can track user (who have the script), could it also track users that don't have the script? I realize more coding would have to be done, but this could help fix the Mod Stalker.

Ok laugh at me, but I gotta ask. I'm seeing borders around people's avatars lately. Is this something to do with that Who's Online 2.0 script, because I'm not 100% sure how that script works and what it does.

Yes it's possible to have the line only at the bottom. I'll make an options box, or not, I'm lazy.

Yeah, I could use it for that. I will probably upgrade it in the near future for sure.

I think the Who's Online 2.0 places a border around the avatar to signal who's been online.

I haven't downloaded it yet, wrong comp.

Correct. The bluer it is, the more recent the users activity. The scale is from 0-10 minutes.

Okay I just updated it, but I'm not sure if you guys like this way, or the other one.

Well, if the user loads any page on bungie.net, it will update you as "online". I'll have options as to when it will update, like every page load, or only when you post, or only in public forums (not private groups), etc..

I who walk alone in this world wrapped in the arms of the past not knowing what lies ahead of me. What am I? A soulless being to be beaten by the rage of those who hate me? Cutting my way past hopes and dreams. Sit in the window sill as I do every day and night resignations on my slate of who I am and what is left behind. Concealed in the words that chases my every thought. I who walk alone in this world…I am broken

I still have no idea how work the scripts and i have been on B.bet now for a year can some one please explain this to me.And i do know that things get lost in threads so can some one please PM me about it!
