PICCY! Heres my little CSS work for you. Not much could be done because of the way you created the drop down box as just 1 div and not a background div aslo because of my tiredness and COD:Mw2. I will spend some time when you fix up the cookies because waiting so long is kinda annoying.
do
GM_getValue
GM_setValue

for an html value, and a "last check" for timing.

Thanks for the CSS. =) The source code has been updated.

I have a Script Request, guys. Is there a way to have a script take my Xbox LIVE Gamerpicture, and automatically update it onto my Bungie.net Avatar? I would like that.

Couldnt you just copy the link location of your gamerpic as your coup avatar?

Not quite user script related, but... I've made a script (coded in Ruby) that basically logins to your Bungie.net account (via clever means), steals your Personal Messages from your inbox, and then archives it into an XML file.

Screenshot here. It shows all of my PMs being, indeed, stored inside an XML file. Then the XML is converted to HTML via a quick XSLT file I whipped-up.

=D

These are under-boobies, and happen to be the exact same image that person was referencing.

lulz.

You know you can read and write files with firefox's javascript engine? Yes.

I know for sure thtat you can read files with a given location from a file input (you know, the ones often seen on photobucket and imageshack). I'm not sure if you can actually create new files and write to them, but I'm pretty sure you can, even XML.

Those are, indeed, nice underboobs. So, with your magical PM-reading script, is it possible to make an RSS feed or some other type of "ticker" containing your PMs?

When he was younger, he was the one who always had the jokes and riddles that would keep the spirits of the Spartans high. Over the years however, his lifetime of combat had hardened him, as it had all of the Spartans. Within Will, John thought, something special had been lost.

Might have been mentioned, but

XBL Friends List 1.1
XBL Friends List 1.5
Bungie Anywhere 3.1.1

don't work with FF version 3.5.5

The scripts I have work fine, but these addons don't work at all. I have no experience writing addons or scripts so I can't give you any technical reason as to what might be wrong.

any insight is appreciated
thanks

Someone link me to a WORKING Multiquote. I have tried the OP, and the one I download doesn't work after like 3 posts.

Iggy, HALP. Do you have the latest version still?

True!

Check this out - http://www.faqts.com/knowledge_base/view.phtml/aid/23360/fid/ 53

It works just as expected and spits out a .html file (I dare say you might need to change the path though). At least it gives warnings though.

I wrote a new script... Just for fun. =)

The script activates when the Code is properly entered (no start button needed for obvious reasons).

Just enter the Code anywhere while browsing Bungie.net with the script active. Press any button to see the script in action. (Then hold the button down and lol for a while.)

Enjoy. =)

The Code, also known as "The Konami Code" is something that any self-respecting gamer knows about.

But what most do not know is something that I randomly found while browsing the internet whilst I was supposed to be doing some dynamics homework at college earlier today.

Web developers everywhere have been adding The Code into their websites as easter eggs. Different sites use it in different ways.

This site, requires that you type the code in to view its contents. After doing so, you'll find a listing of various other sites that use The Code.

Check out the sites there. I guarantee there are some on the list that you frequent.

My favorites (in no particular order):
http://www.speccedforawesome.com/forum/
http://www.geekandhype.com/
http://www.aq.com/aw-designnotes.asp*
http://www.cornify.com/*
http://www.soundclick.com/
http://53cr.com/

I've been trying this on other sites... so far I've found only one that isn't on that list. (Unfortunately I forgot what it is, but it should be in my browser history at college. I'll find it tomorrow (maybe)) I'm sure there are more.

Oh, also there's this thing that I made for those of you with greasemonkey installed. =)

Caution: Rainbows and Unicorns within. Coworkers may think strange things about you if they catch you looking at this.

Well that sucks. I already have a solution to stop all this, although he could still hack it if he was smart, but I'm guessing he is a knowledgeable script kiddie, nothing more.

It's called authentication, if you download the script, it will take data and make a key from various things. Since the key is generated from your data, only you can edit your profile.

Simple on paper, hard to actually write. I guess it's more time consuming then actually "hard to do". I have to do some more php work now.

Hey I gotz a scrupt idea.

  • 11.18.2009 10:40 AM PDT

Edit: D'oh! Totally forgot I had a webserver. I've hosted the file here. And if you visit it, and go to View Source in your browser, you can indeed verify it's all XML :]

Whoo! Good progress on my PM archiver script. It's not ready yet, and still needs a *lot* of cleaning-up + implementing, but it's quite functional now.

Look at what I just done. If you download & extract that file, and open "bapa-pm.xml" in your browser, (using the XSLT) the XML should format itself to HTML.

It'll tell you how many messages I have total, and from who. And after that, it'll list every single one of my PMs since I last cleared them all in March of 2008.

I don't have a problem disclosing the personal messages people sent to me, so mleh, just go ahead and check it out. I've also included the source code for my script -- which again, is a WiP.

=D

Note: For some reason, in Firefox, it doesn't format the embedded HTML contents of the messages I received. So links sent to me will appear as "<a href=...", and whatnot. But it works properly in Opera or Chrome.

Yaaaay =D
