I hate this guy.

Google Chrome has these add-ons called "extensions" that appear to work the same way as the ones on Firefox. You can also submit user-created extensions. Could we possibly get someone to make us Chrome users a version of Coup? I would love to use it but all my bookmarks and stuff are on Chrome so Firefox isn't really preferable for me.

you could, Install Greasemetal
and be sure to join Coup D Bungie to install the script.

Since Qbix locked your thread while I was in the middle of replying, I'll try to type it up again:

Chrome converts the Greasemonkey scripts into Chrome Extensions, so there are quite a few scripts here on Bungie.net that will work with Chrome. The issue with Coup, I think, is how it interacts with itself. Coup calls up a "master" script, where everybody's information is kept. Since the "master" script is not a local script, Chrome cannot convert it into an Extension.

There may be a way to go through Coup, download and convert all of the scripts, rewrite it to all be local, and then use Coup, but I'm not sure. The one issue with attempting to keep everything local would be the fact that you'd have to download and convert the "master" script every day so you can get everybody's Coup updated.

Edit: Well -blam!-, nevermind...^^^

acutally I'm still testing it out.
Its defiantly buggy and the coup doesn't always load.
so firefox is defiantly more reliable.

tl.dr
My method will work, but its reliability isn't great
Firefox will work, and its reliability is sexy

EDIT: Nevermind, chrome seems to not want to load the coup at all anymore, and it doesn't load the coup to allow you to customize the options.

Chrome doesn't seem to be compatible with coup

We write scripts for Firefox. If it works on Chrome that's a bonus but we don't take Chrome into consideration.

I updated the image host for my new banner script.

Updated link.
Don't forget that you can also encode an image into a string so you can store the image within your script too. Encode the image here, copy the string of text into your script as one long line, then assign it to the src property of an image.

Saves bandwidth by not having to download the images.
I never knew how to do that. Why thank you for showing me that. I'll switch on my lunch today.

EDIT2:
Hey, this means I might be able to post while capped. Cool.
While it might seem like that's what might happen, it won't. The only thing it will cut down on is browser rendering time.

In short, when you hit the submit button, the createpost.aspx page (always according to the OP's post - in effect, you're always replying to the OP) is loaded twice automatically by the script. The first is to gather data to make the post submission valid. The second is the actual submission of the post (ie. the equivalent of hitting the submit button).

So it's not taking any shortcuts in the process, it's just hiding the middleman (the createpost page) from you.
Well, damn. Oh well, it's not like I can even load bnet during those times anyway.

I use your script a hell of a lot and although it's not a big deal and is probably something on my end, just like to say that a couple of times I've had to refresh the entire page and try again because the "submitting post" bar seemed to have froze.

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

Ideas have become rather scarce, but I thought this little widget would be somewhat coolio.

REACH REACH REACH.
As the name subtly entails, the script is about Reach. It adds a countdown on the homepage to Reach's release.

Who's the first person to download it? This guy!

Personally, I think the countdown would look better on the top banner, next to the Bungie logo.

I sort of intended this to be a homepage-only script. You know, you wake up, fall out of bed, drag a comb across your head. Find your way downstairs and drink a cup, and then you look up you notice you're late. Find your coat and grab your hat, and you make the bus in seconds flat. Find your way upstairs and go on Bungie.net, and are like, "Hey, coolio, only 107 days until Halo: Reach drops! Now I'll go browse the forums and news as I typically do."

Yep.

Makes sense, It's just, personally, I rarely check the homepage. Also, it doesn't exactly stick out.

Sorry for the negativity.

I was wondering if any of you script masters had ever considered making a Bnet App for the new Droid? I know the i-Phone has a Flood Forum App, but is there anything out there for the Droid?

I'm not really one to trust links like those, it's not official. I'll just wait for an answer, and if it's a "No", then that's okay.

I'm digging the awesome Grease monkey scripts on Firefox, but i prefer Google Chrome. Not to mention that my CPU is -blam!-, so all of my CPU is used on Bungie.net now. I really like google chrome, if they can make it for google chrome so it constantly works, then I'd use it

@thesuperhaloman Yes, leftclick the monkey, find Pretty Colours and then click it. It should disable it.

@nick19100 Stop treble posting, just edit your first post if you have more to say.

ApocalypeX, I'm not getting anything for the Account stats and pie chart script.
I've restarted FF, checked Greasemonkey and the script is enabled..
But nothing shows up on the account page.

What other scripts run when you're on the profile page?
Also Unistall the script and re-install it.
