We should know better, because we are better.

Does anyone have the newest version of coup? Haven't used it in a while and it is not working for me anymore. I tried downloading it several times but it never works.

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

Even before that it did not work with me. I will try again when it's up.

Can someone make a new 'Old Fasun'd Sig' script?
The one in the OP no longest exists.

I have chrome and it seems most of the scripts I download don't work.
That is because most userscripts were designed for Firefox's Greasemonkey add-on. Chrome didn't even attempt to support a similar architecture (or even similarly-named APIs) when they added userscript support.

It's a problem with Chrome, not with the scripts. Only solution is to either get Firefox, or only use scripts specifically coded to work with Chrome.

So which ones does chrome support? And how can I create my own scripts?
I'm pretty sure that there is an alternate version of Coup d'Bungie that works with Chrome.

As for instructions... I think ApocalypeX knows the details for Chrome userscripts. I do know that in both Firefox and Chrome, it takes quite a bit of knowledge of HTML and JavaScript to make a userscript.

Try using Coup 4 again, it worked for me...

For anyone that cares, I made some slight changes to my solution of getting Coup4 to work in Opera. link.

It does backgrounds, but not gradients.

picture

Details: I realised a long time ago that I could have just formed my own json response instead of going through YQL after going through my proxy, so I finally got around to changing it. It now loads much faster as it only needs to go through me instead of yql as well. It also doesn't break as much.
I'm fairly sure the aa-gm-functions script I modified in the link can be used for most other greasemonkey scripts, however I can't be bothered to see for myself.

Timezone Converter (rehost + changes)
I've decided to rehost dazarobbo's timezome converter seeing as all of the links in the first page seems to have exploded. In doing this, I decided to change a few aesthetics of the script by giving in a new config panel - now found on the profile page ala coup settings - and changing the format of the input slightly which is now relative to GMT rather than PDT. The rest of the code has not changed at all and I haven't added any functionality to that.

What is this?
A userscript thread.

Mozilla Firefox has an add-on called "Greasemonkey". Greasemonkey allows people to create and share userscripts -- pieces of code that automatically run on certain web pages, when you view those web pages. These codes can basically edit a web page when you view it, changing what you (and only you) see.

For example, the Coup d'Bungie userscript allows people to use custom avatars and text colors on Bungie.net's forums.

What's this? Shameless plug, you say?

If anyone's interested, you may want to check-out a couple userscripts of mine. I just installed & tested them on both Chrome and Firefox for the first time in over a year, and they still work apparently.

Hmm.. It doesn't seem to be saving my settings for me, man. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

What browser? Might have issues with Chrome seeing as it uses GM_* functions. I could change it to localstorage for wider compatibility I guess.

Thanks, I've needed this for a while. But it doesn't seem to be working correctly. I live on GMT +2 but it is delayed by an hour. I had to change it to GMT +3 in order to make it work properly.
