Glass Galaxies - a theme for bungie.net

Ah good catch, I'll sort that out for the next release!

Very nice!

Though for some reason, sometimes while looking through the Reach forum the background image won't load, and it's just a big bright orange backdrop.

Is this a problem on my end?

Again, thanks guys.

I've never had any problems with the background not loading, though I'd been hosting the images locally until yesterday so I haven't had much time to test it. I'll have a look at the code to see if there might be any problems there, though I've no idea what the cause could be.

Also noticed a couple of different problems with the theme not loading after page 1 of each forum. Both easily fixable, both will be sorted for next release.

Why are you hosting the images? Why not just base64 encode it.

I considered that, in fact I'd done that with my last theme. I may end up doing that for some of the stuff I'm less likely to change, but the main thing I want (for now) is to be able to change some of the theme elements on-the-fly without forcing updates on anyone. It'll hopefully allow me to do a few cool things as well, such as holiday-specific themes :)

I'm loving the 20th Anniversary theme as well as the Stylish script in general.
Nice job.

He could do that with base64 anyway, and hook it up to the CSS equivalent of a logic bomb, i.e. styling a[name='end']:target::after to show pronz when someone clicks the link to the last post in a thread. If he can work out a good selector (something that's unlikely to fire), he'd actually get away with it for longer than if he simply changed what image is at the end of an external URL.

EDIT: ...My point being that base64 has no safety advantage over URLs.

If you go to the Flood and look at the top forum topics, the titles are slightly cut off. Not as bad in the other forums though.
Just something to fix with your next release. :)

Huh? I wasn't talking about shock images, I was wanting pronz.

I suggested base64 encoding as a way to decrease the loading time of the images. Not as a safety feature.

So...

No, acnboy. Spartain Ken 15 is a lesser being. Much like the bacteria that lives in your shit.

My shit bacteria takes offense to that comparison.

Don't make me lel. You won't like me when I lel.

Damn, that style is good!

I haven't used Coup since back in 09. Does it work on older versions of Firefox? I downloaded the new script and updated GM and all. Sorry if this is a stupid question. :3

New Banners!
What this script does is replace banners in the the the Gallery forum, Halo 3 forum, The Flood, and the Universe. Thanks a bunch to PKF for the images and Firebird for helping me along.
Was digging around for something in Stylish and rediscovered this. After a little investigating, the script still works just my images are down. This time around I aim to expand it for every forum with images I make.

After the details on how the forums will work of course. ;)

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

It's difficult to believe that I began what I believed to be a very simple script more than a year ago. With each success, new challenges presented themselves. I returned to it recently and had great success, but the current issues with it transcend my ability.

So, if anyone can solve this mess, I would be grateful.

Blarg.

The intended function is very simple: Facilitate the sending of a message to a user from a thread. So, for instance, if you clicked the 'message user' link next to my username, you would be taken to the message user page, of course, but would now have the ability to easily quote my post. Simple, right? Yeah...

Blarg.

Hide Spartain Ken!
So I said I wouldn't make anymore scripts, I had to break that promise, because this is a must. Works on Chrome and Firefox. I pray for you users who can't use this script.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I might expand the script so you can set who to hide etc later. But for now, it's more than enough. I may even entirely remove the name "spartain ken 15" so you cant even see he replied to a thread or see his profile.

Hopefully this script stops people and myself from being a jerk towards him in the future.
