Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

Yeah, that was a bit of carelessness on my part, sorry about that. 'Tis fixed.

The image is taken directly from the news story, so it's constantly changing. Or are you referring to its dimensions?

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."

I was referring to it's dimensions. If you were wanting to keep it at 80px, you should change the height to 47px, as that's how it would properly look. Unfortunately when I change it, the "Read More" button moves up :(

Still an awesome script nonetheless :)

Just to make it clear, I did not regret the script I created. I thought it was exactly the whole purpose of userscripts. They give you the ability to take action. Mods have tools to hide users. I created a tool to hide a user. I guess the only difference between the two is mod tools hide users by plural while I hide by singular. That's the only difference I see.

So I'll correct that design flaw and let you hide multiple people that you want to. You can even hide the person the first script did if you want to keep it too it's roots.

I'll release the new script in a few days when I feel like it. It will most likely be called "Spartains MIA". Because we are all Spartains and I think the MIA is ironic because it basically goes with the lore about Spartains never dying (leaving) just missing in action (hiding). So you have the chance with the script to make people go MIA.

Can't wait ApocalypeX.
The old version of the ignore script doesn't seem to work for me.

Question, would this make threads made by the people we ignore disappear?

Noted. I have a wall in my room with post-it-notes on it. Each one says a persons name, and their opinion on my motives. I keep them their to affect later actions.

Apparently. I personally don't see the big deal. It should be the user's decision if they want to hide a particular user or not.

Was ApocalypeX banned again? :o

Anyway. I'm working on my first 'real' script. Haven't really got it working yet, so I'll wait before I post details about it. :)

So, it would seem I am about five months late in creating this script. Oh well.

At first I was very excited because I quickly glanced at the screenshot and thought it revealed your complete ban history. Then I realized it just collapses the ban history, which is still cool. Except I'm guessing when you collapse it, it's supposed to stay collapsed, which it's not doing each time I load the page.

Not sure why that is, it may be interfering with coup as coup also uses the profile page as the settings page.

It stays collapsed for me, and I have both Coup 4 and Coup 5 installed.

If you're using Chrome, that might be the reason.

I quickly looked through the source and I don't see why it would stay collapsed seeing as it doesn't seem to write any cookies. Or, I've forgotten a lot.

Never mind, I do think I've forgotten...

It utilizes GM_setValue and GM_getValue.

I write scripts specifically for Firefox as Chrome seems to be lacking in Greasemonkey functionality. This may or may not work.

It works. Pretty neat.

  • 07.22.2011 6:05 PM PDT

Posted by: robby118You can probably get rid of that XPath thing in favour of another regex too.

modHistory.innerHTML = modHistory.innerHTML.replace(/(http:\/\/.+?)(?=<br.*?>| <\/span>|\s+)/gi, "<a href=\"$1\">$1</a>");Don't copy that from the page; reply to me and copy it out of the textbox instead (Bungie.net likes to put spaces in the most inconvenient places sometimes...)

Anyway, that regex will convert all/any of the hyperlinks in the ban/warning entry.

Thanks to the mischievous Apoc, the script will now execute correctly in both Firefox and Chrome.

Is there a better Bungie.net forum posts statistics script that's been made? I have the one from a while back that separated your posts into a pie chart and gave a post-per-day count. Have any improvements been mad to that script, or is that still all there is.

Yes, that's the only script. What improvements do you have in mind? We can't just create something from nonexistent data.

Just something that didn't also show forums I don't think I've ever posted in. The Pie chart has slices for the Reach, ODST, and Halo 3 forum, even if I haven't posted in those more than a few times, if ever. It also seems to fluctuate very rapidly. As I post more over time, the amount of change each post causes to the chart pieces should only decrease.

That's all.
