Who else feels a bit of nostalgia?

I love it. There's not really nostalgia, it was like, July...

Glass Galaxies minor update

As far as I can tell, the Glass Galaxies/uStalk problem is fixed. It was an issue with z-indexing, which sorts the order of page elements on the z axis (deciding which elements overlap which). Certain elements had z-indexes which have now been removed, meaning they no longer overlap the uStalk settings box. This could cause some other issues with the theme but so far so good.. As always, if you find any problems please let me know. :)

To get the update, just go to this page and you should have an option to update the theme.

Cheers!

Testing... (just click "Install as User Script, it's okay if you don't have Stylish for Chrome)
EDIT: It's the same as the old one.

The problem is still present. D:

Same for me. I was wondering if I did something wrong, but CT confirms. Still there. The blue and black still works flawlessly though. Thanks.

Maybe the page isn't updating, because it still says it was last updated in July. I'll use the Pre-Space theme for now.

Weird.. the problem should definitely be gone. I have a feeling that the problem's with the theme not updating properly. Could you delete the theme and re-download it please?

I think it's the site that you uploaded it to. "Updated: Aug 23 2011".
EDIT: *squirms in seat excitedly*

The z-index wasn't corrected for certain elements. Should be working now, if you don't mind updating again :)

I'm gonna have a good look at this. It works fine for me, and the z-indexes are gone when I look at the code. I'll figure this out.

Maybe it's the browsers? I'm using Chrome, and so is CT I think.

  • 09.19.2011 5:31 PM PDT

That I am. Let me grab Stylish, real quick. That might be the problem.
EDIT: Installed with Stylish. Still messed up. The IBBPinLockedTopicIcons and the IBBBungieStaffIcons don't move with the ctl00_forumSidebarPanel when it moves down.

Do you use a Greasemonkey equivalent for Chrome to run scripts? Or do you install them as extensions? And/or is there a special version of uStalk made for Chrome?

I use them as extensions. I don't know about the uStalk though...

  • 09.19.2011 5:38 PM PDT

What are you using? FF? We're using this uStalk. (Direct link) Chrome doesn't require additional scripts to run other scripts. It automatically creates a manifest.json file (a requirement for all Chrome extensions/apps/themes) if you download a .js file. ^That is just a .js file.

I've been using FF, though I'm testing with Chrome now. I've installed the uStalk greasemonkey script as an extension and.. nothing happens?

"uStalker doesn't show up" nothing, or "no problems" nothing?

  • 09.19.2011 5:44 PM PDT

All you have to do is download that^ link and it'll be like "Yo, you sure you wanna grab this, fool?" and you'll be all "Yeah, dawg, that's chill" and then it'll be all "Successfully installed, crackajack." Then go to a forum menu and it should appear above the ctl00_forumSidebarPanel. If it doesn't, just click "Forum Topics" again and it should pop up.
