So I've started work on a filtering script.

Ignoring them on one level just isn't enough.

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's the rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again

No Chrome scripts?

Some of these look great, but I don't use firefox.

Some work for Chrome. I did have someone building a database...but he no longer is...so it's hard to tell what works and what doesn't right now.

Sadly, I don't have the patience to look through them all, looking for the ones that are compatible.

Damn, I was going to try to make that script.
Except with filtering posts with certain content.

Like removing posts with "JOHN+CENA" in them.
But you're far more competant than me with this shizzle so I won't bother.

For those who don't know, Coup 4 is shutting down on the 31st (~10 days). I will no longer manage the server. Daz is managing coup 5, and I'll be helping with the script for that.

Very cool. How's the ('last group post') script coming along?

Halo Waypoint Superintendent // Forger // Junior Games & Web Developer.

Reaching Perfection || Blueprint -- Action Sack Lead

Pretty simple script, but a few have asked for something similar.
"Zealot Tony Fix" v2 (first was just silly)
It simply makes you have to confirm (via popup) before your thread is saved. Some people have been hitting the Save thread button instead of the Forum Topics or Create new topic button.
Tested FF, should work on Chrome.

Post it, if Iggy helped you it's probably an improvement on this current one.

No, he helped me make it before that was posted. I told him I had an idea and I needed help on how I would do it. I came here to post it an saw that DF posted the script.

Huge "wtf" face.

What I'm saying is... Your one is more likely written in a better way since Iggy helped than Der Flatulator6's.

  • 12.24.2011 4:56 PM PDT

It's 2 lines long. lol
var saveThread = document.getElementById('ctl00_trackTopicLinkButton') ;
saveThread.href = "javascript:if(confirm('Would you like to save this thread?') == true) { __doPostBack('ctl00$trackTopicLinkButton', ''); }";

That's the whole script. His probably works better.

After looking at it, Flatulator's is worse. Both can be improved, but Flatulator's can be improved more.

First, avoid using innerHTML to edit things. That will completely break other scripts that have events tied to it. You can just set the erase the href attribute.

Secondly, you can simply pass the function OnButtonDown. You don't have to wrap it in another function.
