I hope this isn't too much to ask, but is it possible to put either one of the nav bar scripts into stylish?
It just feels kinda weird having the page load, then a few milliseconds later having it move things around.
It's not that much of a problem, but stylish takes really no time to load.
If it is not an easy task, or if you don't want to, I understand. I completely agree with your thinking process.
I tried to find a way to make greasemonkey scripts load before all the content is loaded, right? Nope. I can't find any way to do it. I guess stylish is the way to go, but I don't have any navbar scripts.
Oh wait, I meant pinned topics. My bad.
Question, is it hard to convert gm to stylish?Yes. Well it depends, because GM is all text/javascript based, which can be extended to do styles by itself, but stylish is all styles. You can't add anything with stylish like GM can, like custom dialogs and such.
GM = Add New Content
Stylish = Change Existing Content
Yeah, would you say you have a slow internet connection, komark? Anything higher then 800kbps seems like no problems with the speed of greasemonkey loading time.
Since GM runs after the page "fully" loads, if you have slow connection, that means slow page loads. It can seem that GM might be really slow, and you can click the next link before the script actually runs.
It's seems fine for me since I load pages so fast, and then GM can run. Also, you can put the Pinned Toggler at the top of the script list in your greasemonkey options.
Just for info. Take the speed test here and just post/link your results.
Mine is this right now, because of bad internet problems. Plinky (0.5 = 500 kpbs)
