How come when I click on a link it just gives me a bunch of text while using Firefox?
Most likely you don't have Greasemonkey turned on.

That was the case, well that and I didn't have it downloaded!

Anyways, is FF the 'main' browser for scripts dealing with Bungie.net?
Yes, but Chrome accepts some of them too.

"Insert generic signature here"

Just wanted to stop by and thank the creators of these scripts as they have made posting and browsing BNet a much easier and more enjoyable website.

Also, testing the spoiler tags.

It works, but I think daz's Userscripts.org account may have been deleted. I've uploaded my slightly modified version.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

Im not sure the PPD script is working correctly for me, I have been posting more lately and it is going down or just staying on 1.36?

Userscripts: {
  Shi Options: [Chrome, Firefox],
  Coup-5: [Chrome, Firefox, Opera]
}

So I just made a small script: Shi_options.user.js

Adds options to parse video, music, images, youtube and SVG URLs to <video>, <audio>, <img>, <iframe> and <iframe> elements. Embedding Youtube videos with iframe allows those in the HTML5 beta to watch videos in HTML5, so I thought it'd be nicer to add that.

And auto-update the forum view, hiding pinned topics, showing the source URL on hover, and loading the replies on the 9 next pages, so you don't have to reload the page that much.

Some options don't go into effect until after a refresh.

Small? That thing's like 4 scripts in one, it's great!

I have a script suggestion if anyone thinks it is worth their time.

Those of you that post on community files will notice that trying to view your comments via recent post history brings up an error page. The reason is that it still operates by postid, rather than file ID.

The url should be
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=

The file ID can be retrieved from the recent posts page
username : Community Maps/Films/Screenshots : Halo Reach User Content: File Id number here

I'm sure there are some users who would appreciate a script that automatically makes the switch while we wait for the webteam to fix the issue.

The ID doesn't appear for a quite a while, if at all. I just posted on one of your maps, and my recent posts page shows only this:

robby118 : Community Map Variants :

It wouldn't be a difficult fix, provided the file ID was visible.

Ah you're right, that is a bit of a pain. The ID number only pops up for the first post attached to the file, future posts aren't labelled.

I've updated this.

I fixed an issue with the text encoding, which made Chrome ignore the UserScript information, therefore making the script run on all webpages and display the wrong script name and version.

I've added image expansion on click.

And I trimmed the code a bit by removing unnecessary parts.

The script can be downloaded from the same URL: Shi_options.user.js

In lieu of importing the entire jQuery library, use this little code snippet:

var $ = unsafeWindow.$telerik.$;The jQuery library is already a part of the Bungie.net source, so implementing it in your script is redundant.

I tried that, and Chrome returns this error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '$' of undefined
(anonymous function)
(anonymous function)

Also, I updated the script and added a "Load 9 more pages" option at the bottom, and the current page bar in the bottom shows the last loaded page.

Chrome doesn't support unsafeWindow. You have to make a Chrome extension which is hawt and then it works.

Read this.

It doesn't seem to work even as an extension.

Uncaught ReferenceError: unsafeWindow is not defined

Unless you meant without the unsafeWindow line, but it doesn't work then either.
