Just so you know... which you look like you don't, and FPS is a first person shooter, meaning that you see things from the person's eyes.

Not a stupid question. Just a question of personal prefference. I, myself, would like an option to change the view from FPS to just behind the master chief so you can see his position in the environment, where exactly his feet are, how much of him is actually sticking out and a visible target. They had this in the game Thief: Deadly Shadows, it was called "Body Awareness" and it was incredibly cool. I'd love to have that in Halo 2.

No, that was not a stupid question at all, just a question. Now that: ^ response was stupid, very stupid indeed. Now to answer your question: No, I really don't think Halo 2 should have more than one view. It shifts to 3rd person just when it needs to.

That would be so -blam!-. Think about in multiplayer, you could see a guy around the corner when in Third Person View. It would give you so much more viewing range and would be not fun at all. You could also see behind you a bit so say someone is gonna melee you in the back you will know hes there and shoot at him. -blam!-ist idea I have ever heard.

Personally, i find third person shooters hard to control. although i would like to be able to change the view from third person to first person while we are in vehicles.

For the majority of the time, that wouldn't really help someone trying to use it to keep people from sneaking up to them from behind... It's not third person view 50 ft. behind the person now...

I agree though, third person view should stick to vehicles...
