I currently have:

* Halo: Combat Evolved
* Halo 2
* F.E.A.R. & expansion packs
* Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Of these, only Halo: CE will allow me to play online using the multiplayer. All the others won't allow me to search for active games.

At first I thought it was my firewalls blocking them, but I made an exception for all of those games on both of them, and they still won't work. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how I might fix it?

That's the number of bans in this thread. Next time you want to derail something, go stand in front of a train.

Tried allowing the ports through the firewall as well?

What should I look for on my list to do that?

when you get a new game, and fire it up for the first time, afterwards vista might be all "this program wanted to access your computer!"

Click unblock, if you clicked block thats one reason why your server list wouldnt show up.

to go back and unblock, go into your control panel

in classic view, find Windows Firewall

Click Change settings over near the righthand side

Then click the exeptions tab in the top part, that is where you can make exceptions and unblock your games.

Are you on a router?
If you connect wirelessly you are.
If multiple computers on your house have internet access, you are.

I'm on a University ethernet network. I already have all my games listed under exceptions to both my firewalls.

Sounds like you need to configure your router settings then. As you're at school however, I doubt you'll be given access to make those changes.
